hey this is to all of those who would like to trade Griff. the young catcher for the Angels.

M. Napoli , check him out. they have 2 very , very good young catchers.

He could be the next Johnny Bench. no kidding.

You say Mike Napoli could be the next Johnny Bench when he's a career .237 hitter, yet you say Jeff Clement won't live up to the achievements of Paul Bako.... I'd rather have Clement.

.237 career . Mike has just started his career. we need a catcher that plays 5 days out of the week. keep an eye on this kid- young man. , and they are talking about making a 1st baseman out of Clement. mark my word this player will be big someday SOOOOOON.

GO Reds!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

yeah, but the Angels already have like 6 guys whose bodies are breaking down and need to rotate their time at the corner OF and DH positions...

The only way the Angels take Griff is we take Garrett Anderson back and who needs him in the NL. He is a DH only now.

The only reason Clement is being talked about being moved to 1B is cause the Mariners have a top 10 catcher signed for the next 3 years. All the experts say Clement is by far the better prospect. Napoli is considered good defense and weak bat (a sub 240 avg. shows that). I'll take the experts pick here........

oh you might want to take a look at his stats. (Napoli). i think at one time last week, he went  to the plate had 14 hits, and 7 were  HRs., this kid has Power, with big D. speed. you should keep an eye on him , he splitz the catching duty, but will soon take over. it is a coin flip at best. clement will play 1st soon. and im not sure but i believe we have a 1st baseman  !(VOTTO). yea we do !!!!! love the avatar by the way.

I just took a peak at Napoli, 1 HR every 10 at bats. not bad for a weak bat. i would take it over Jr. at this very minute. a nice bat to have with Votto & Dunn, .

GO Reds!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ya can't have him.

For all those who underestimate this guy, you are sorely mistaken. A split-time catcher with 8 HR's (best in the AL), best AB to HR ratio in the majors, and he's just starting.

Go Angels!

Id like a little more proof of his numbers that 18 AB... wait until pitchers figure out how to pitch him.  Clement was batting .400 in AAA this year before being called up.  Ill take those and the rest of his career numbers as showing his potential as higher than this other guy.  Either way, Griffey has worn out his welcome.
