this season we are totally gonna sneak up on people.... ive never seen more trash talk about how crappy we are in comparison to previous years... everyone has us ranked just above syracuse in the BE predictions and i love it.... please under prepare for us... please keep thinking we have no running or throwing game... and pleeeeease keep saying that because ray rice left we are nothing.... it will only make the shit talk that follows soooo much sweeter.... the only people who arent talking that much trash are the peeps from WVU... they know theres a storm comin.. hehe

Mind you, I think there's a good chance we'll finish this year ranked...I just didn't think anyone outside of Jersey felt the same way.

Wow, in addition to coming late to the Big Time college football scene it seems we also have a way to catch up on the knucklehead smack talking fans!  I doubt fans from Miami and ND are this realistic in their expectations.  (Note: this is a good thing )

No one is ever realistic about their team before the season starts. Look at Pitt fans, they have BE and NC locked up.

I am not to sure about a ranking this year, we don't deserve it. But, I do love being the underdog again.

Even FS is only talking about them getting Northeast exposure and not much about being worried about Rutgers.

If you look at Dodd's poll, which obviously doesn't mean a heck of a lot, he has five Big East teams ranked in his top 25.  USF, UConn, UC and Pitt to go along with the Mountaineers of course.   I just don't get this Pitt stuff, despite all the "great" recruiting classes and one big win.  You can make a case for the other three, primarily becasue of the way they play defense.  I personally think  West Virginia is still the best, Syracuse is just awful, and everyone else is pretty good, although I don't think WVU will be a dominant team.  Louisville maybe be second from the bottom now.  You guys know your stuff, too so I'd like some opinions on this.

I think the BE is a very competitive conference that really is better than most of the country thinks.  The Labor Day game is HUGE now. 

One more thing: Has beating the Mountaineers become a "head case" situation at this point?

But don't forget gang, that was WVU without Pat White too.  I like playing the Eeers early.  They always seem to have an early stumble against a Louisville or lately USF.  Maybe we can catch them early this year before their defense has a chance to gel.

Seriously, I think we just have to kidnap White or something.  I'm tired of seeing our LB's breaking their ankles trying to catch him.
