I say Deron Williams should at least get talked about in the MVP run. He's just like Chris Paul. Although whenever they meet D-will own's CP3. But i do have to say I like Chris Paul and i wish he got it instead of Kobe!

Whoa pal lets not get ahead of ourselves here. Yes, Deron is very good and he is a bad matchup for Paul for sure. However, look at the numbers:
PAUL: 21.1 points, 11.6 assists, 4 rebounds, 2.7 steals......not bad
Williams: 18.8 points, 10.5 assists, 3 rebounds, and 1.1 steals...also not bad.
Team record: Paul 56-23

williams 54-28.
Pretty good for 3rd year players but it looks like CP is on top this year. Lets hope they can match up in the next round of the playoffs. That would be something to see.

If Paul is really better then why does Williams shoot better?
Williams: FG% 50.7 FG3% 39.5
Paul: FG% 48.8 FG3% 36.9

if williams scored more then his fg% would likely go down...
williams is not as good as Chris Paul is, and these comparisons should stop. they have no validity. every one of paul's important statistics are better except for FG%, and chris paul still shoots a high %.
and they finished 2nd in the west, while utah finished 5th.
paul is the ultimate leader.

Man July 1st can't come fast enough to find out that the Jazz and Deron Williams have come to an agreement on a contract extention. Because D-Will is the Heart and Soul of the Utah franchise, and Utah would be nothing without him.
Last time I checked I thought this was a message board about Williams, but yet Chris Paul is being brought up. On the other hand these two guy's are like twins joined at the hip, you just can't talk about one without the other.
So if I wanted to rant on about how D-Will is so better than CP3, mostly on how he led the Jazz farther in the playoffs in his playoff debut than what CP3 did with the Hornets in his playoff debut. Or how CP3 is so much better than D-Will cause he finished second in the MVP race.
I'm not like that, I see greatness in both CP3 and D-Will. As a Jazz fan I love CP3 and what he's doing for the Hornets, but again as a Jazz fan I will always take D-Will's side in a heart beat.
