Most of the people who are both Pitt and Penn State fans were born near Pittsburgh but went to Penn State.  Pittsburghers that didn't go to PSU do not like them.  I guess not as much anymore since they don't play.  Maybe after Jopa leaves they will play again.

Jimmie- Your right about the Pitt-WVU fans.  The funny thing is a lot of the WVU players are from Pittsburgh.  All the ones who could'nt get in to any other school.  Ha Ha just joking.

I never said that I was a WVU grad, although I am...Surely you arent ragging on WVU grads as a Pitt grad.  Cmon, maybe coming from a Penn St grad, I can take a little ribbing, but not a lowly Pitt grad.

I even like Penn St...I miss the Penn St-WVU games.

I didn't graduate from either - but enjoy the rivalry - for 50+ years...  only some kidding..  I enjoyed watching WVU these last couple of years-very exciting team to watch.  I watch alot of college football - almost anyone and probably more then the NFL - do to the fact there are more college games on than pro..

i wish all 3 schools were still playing each other.. Pitt, PSU and WVU..

Do you remember a kid named Major Harris, QB for WVU?  He was from Brasher High School in Pittsburgh - Another exciting player to watch - years ago..

Do I remember Major Harris?  That is like asking a Penguin fan if he remembers Mario Lemieux.  Well maybe not, but you get my drift.  I was at the 1988 game when Major led the Mounties to their victory Penn St in like 100 yrs.

I too am a WVU grad.  Not just Major Harris, but Bo Orlando, RenauldoTurnbull, and what was the running backs name? he carried like 3 bagillion times and had never had a loss of yards.... I still remember Notre Damion kicking the crap out of us in the Festia Bowl. That still hurts.

Oh, Chris Henry was a thug in college. He was suspended for the bowl game w/ Florida St. Remember?  Pacman is the big surprise......
