This was the most atrocious thing I've ever watched in any sporting event. Your Pistons had this game handed to them on a silver platter by the worst officiating that has ever disgraced any game ever in sports history. This was just disgusting

That's because as a Magic fan you haven't seen enough playoff basketball to know that you will get some bad breaks along the way. Yes, the timer made a mistake and it was costly to the Magic. We have been on the other end a few times the past 5 trips to the Eastern Conference finals. Time to get over it and move on. I know it's hard because you really thought you might win this one. The Magic might have a chance to win a couple of games if they can continue to hit 3's like they did in this one. I wonder how likely that is? I'd hate to have to live and die by the 3 which is what it looks like Orlando has to do to have a shot in this series.

It was a bad call but you cant say a shot in the 3rd lost you the game. You had 12 more min. to go and you dont know how that would have changed the game!

Look, don't get my anger wrong here. Congrats to the Pistons, they're a great team and they played great. At this point, yes they are the superior team. But I think I have a right to be really really pissed off at that officiating crew for that call. I'm not saying the Magic would have won but it would have made it a completely different game coming down the stretch in the 4th quarter. It's just frustrating to watch your team claw back and fight back against a superior opponent only to get dragged down by something that was completely out of their hands. I just think the officiating has become disgusting in the NBA. I've watched teams get screwed over way too many times in recent memory, and I'm not just talking about the Magic. I've been watching the NBA for a long time and I don't remember it always being this bad

Everyone get over it all ready. There were bad calls that went to both teams. Had there been little or no time on the clock I am sure stuckey would have taken the shot and no one knows if it would have went in.
Bottom line it was a good game, both teams did the best under the circumstances. Let's get on to the next game already.
Everyone complaining should be more concerned about the 19 turnovers blowing the game for them, rather than a few lousy calls.

I agree that the call should have gone the other way, but if the Magic are a real team, and a real team that can beat the magic, then they should have been able to overcome a bad call. If you magic fans wake up to reality, you will realize that bad calls are part of the game, and they will always be. Every team has had a bad call against them that they disagree with, but you need to quit whining about every little thing. I see this as an excuse for Magic fans for how their team has played, and again, if they are a real team, they will be able to overcome these calls. I am willing to bet that there will be a bad call when the Magic are at home, and there will be controversy over it, but I realize that bad calls are going to happen, and you guys need to come to that realization too.

I just want to know why Detroit got rewarded for a mistake that was made by the Detroit franchise. If those buckets are going to count then why dont we it to you guys at the end of every quater in game 3?
There were also many other bad calls..... But i dont blame Detroit on those its the NBAs fault for letting refs like that officiate a game the no-call at the end was a joke and your guy tripped by himself.

Its not like the clock guy knew that Chauncey would hit a 30ft jumper with a hand in his face! The play took 5.2 secounds and there was 5.1 left. Its not like it took 10 secounds and they let it stand. It was a bad call but not that bad. If it was at the end of the game it would be way different!

Please stop the crying. Your team did not lose because of that 3 pointer. They lost because: In the last six minutes, Orlando shot 2-for-13 from the field and made four turnovers.
You cannot expect to win a close playoff game by going 2 out of 13 and turning it over 4 times down the stretch. The Magic are clearly not ready to overtake the Pistons, Cavs, or Celtics in the East. Be thankful that you didnt have to play Philly in round 1 otherwise, the Magic would be on summer vacation already. Get the fishing gear out Magic fans!! Its ova!
The Magic are 0-6 vs the Pistons in the Playoffs over the last 2 years.

IT WAS THREE POINTS!!!!! AT THE END OF THE THIRD QUARTER!!!!!
I dont get how people say the game was handed to the Pistons. Seriously not that big of a deal and now Magic fans are just trying to find an excuse for being down 2-0.

I love all the crying, this is just another reason the Pistons are going to go up 3-0, sheed, chauncey, rip, tayshaun just have more reason to go out and prove how superior they are to the Magic, now all this is going to fire them up even more like MO cheeks did by saying cya for game 7 back in detroit, this series isn't comin back to detroit either, on to bos/cle

For nba playoff games the clock operators are brought in.Then guy running the clock was from the Timberwolves not the Pistons. Crying and making excuses doesnt bring tit | |
