How does the Piston's - Magic series start before the Boston - Atlanta series is over?  If Atlanta had won game 7 wouldn't Detroit have played Atlanta instead of Orlando?  Because the 2 seed Pistons would play the 8 seed, not the 3 seed right?  So if Atlanta had won the 2 seed would have played the 3 seed and the 4 seed would have played the 8 in round 2.  I don't get it.

There is no re-seeding in the playoffs. the matchups are set  all the way thru,
