I complained about this a couple months back - and I got responses (woohoo, they have poeple who are listening now). Apparently there was a glithc in February in how hte ratings are calculated, and since the ratings stay with you for three months, it has been affecting us ever since. I told them to wipe the ratings in February, but he thought that would make it worse.
In any case, the only way to have a high value rating nowadays is if you haven't posted much during the last few months - especially around December, January and February. if you happened to hav eposted a couple that got high ratings - like on the "prayers htread" - than your value rating was trhough the roof - because it counted the number of ratings vs. number of posts - so if you posted a lot, many of which didn't get rated (as usual), you were out of luck.
There were a few months were the top 10 people were all people who haven't posted in a logn time - or posted a like 5 total for five months - but got high ratings on those.
