Poor Ozzie!  He's going to need even more money after making millions in the MLB as both a player and a coach.  F! Ozzie and F! his greedy me first attitude.  He's more worried about his legacy as a coach and media hound than he is about his team's performance.  I hope he has a quick and painful Spreewell-esque decline.

Unfortunately fatbrad, just like a tiger never changes his stripes, F%&kin' Ozzie will never change his...he was a greedy ballplayer that didn't give a rip about fans and now as a manager he continues to show that he doesn't give a rip.

After the last players strike, (remember the one year when there wasn't even a World Series...grrrr), a reporter in the ChiSox clubhouse was asking Ozzie and "The Big A%^hole"  how they thought the fans would respond to the players returning to game, would the fans support them, etc...their responses were very similar and show the greed, personal contempt and disregard I believe both still show the game, their respective players/teammates and most importantly, to the fans to this day.  They both essentially said F**k the fans, we don't care what they think, I don't care if they ever come back, I play for me not them...

Along with the two-headed monster of Einhorn and Reinsdorf, their attitude made it very easy for this (to that point in my life) lifelong White Sox fan to say f**k the Sox and I've been rooting for the Tom Kelly/Ron Gardenhire led Twins ever since.  Still haven't been back to "new Comiskey" and while I hate the Metrodome, I can't say I miss that place on the south side either.

Just shocking that these greedy Me-First a**holes have had the type of self-important headlines that we've seen from them already this season...shocking...

Too bad that Thomas isn't still in a Sox uniform, those two miserable mopes really deserve each other ...

Ozzie has to be the biggets Jack A$$ manager there is in the majors. Here is guy after the Baseball players strike in the 1990's said that 'the players and owners do not owe the fans anything'. Hey Jack A$$, it is the fans that pay your salary buy going to the games and spending their hard earned money, and most of them do not get paid to play a game. This guys is s piece of himan dedris.

You guys are all [bleepin] idiots. Even though the guy can't speak english he continues to tell it like it is. Unfortunately this article doesn't tell the whole story. He never accused sox fans of turning on the team, he accused the media of always saying the Cubs are the best when they haven't won anything. If any of you actually lived in chicago you would realize that all we hear is CUBS CUBS CUBS. Then they get smoked in the playoffs. I don't understand how anyone can say he is a me first guy because he is all about the team. You guys are all nuts cause Ozzie is a really good manager. (notice I didn't say great)

Thanks EY, good luck to your Cavs tonight, but not too much.... Go Celtics.

Anyway, Dolphinsin3007 seems to think Ozzie goes both ways.  Or did he mean kick my ash?  In that case let Ozzie know I'll be him like a rented mule, he's all talk.

And as far as the media goes, lets think back to the Mets in the 80's.  Number 1 team in the hearts of New Yorkers and the media.  Worth the most of any other franchise.  It took the Yankees more than one good year to turn NYC around, Ozzie should work on a few more playoff appearances before he gets all high-handed with the media.  That same media that he's banking on for his retirement plan.
