I had three questions about one of the NFCs best quartbacks.  1. Considering Philly drafted a quarterback for the future, how much longer will McNabb play for the Eagles?  I have recently heard that the rookie from last draft, Kevin Kolb, has been promoted to 2nd string QB to begin this offseason training (say it ain't so).  The reality of this is that, he is going to be the future QB, maybe sooner than later.  I thought he would be third string one more season.   2. When Kolb is given the starting job, where will McNabb end up?  This is nothing to knock one the divisions best quarterbacks.  3. Will an injury to McNabb or a mediocre season end the McNabb era in Philadelphia?  This is going to be one hell of a season.  All four teams in our division have improved on paper.  No major injuries to report as of now.  Good luck this season.

I really just want to know when our Cowboys can stop picking on McNabb and start drilling Kolb on a regular basis???  LOL!!

If Donovan goes down with another season ending injury at or before mid-season, than I think Kevin Kolb will take the reins and get his shot to start.  If McNabb goes down late in the season and we are still in playoff contention, than I think A.J. Feeley will get the starts.  (At least in the beginning)  Hopefully neither of these things happen and McNabb is here for at least 5 more years, but with the way he gets hurt, I doubt that can happen.

can't speculate on injuries, he look healthy now. best he's looked in years. i agree with MVK if Don falls early we might see Kolb... if were in contention and he falls 3/4 into season they might be inclined to put in AJ over Kolb... even though Kolb looks like he might be #2 right now.

Were will he go? who knows... Bears, Vikings.... I think and hope as of now he will finish out his career in Philly.

Side note, look out of LJ Smith this year.... Not saying "break out year", not calling him a "stud TE" or anything but I've got a gut feeling he's also finally healthy and will out produce his previous totals in 2005 and 2006. THAT will help Don out immensely and take pressure off our WR's.

I guess you never really know what's going to happen Big D.

Look at John Elway and where he was after his ninth year in the league. He was just a guy that couldn't win the big game - he threw a lot of interceptions - and was pretty much losing his job to a guy the Broncos picked-up in the first round (Tommy Maddox). Then in the next seven years he wins two Super Bowls.

Start by beating us little buddy.  That would help in order to start picking.  You are 1-3 in the last 2 seasons against us.  But you are aware of that already I'm sure.  Mcnabb plays a full season, makes the Pro Bowl and you can ask us again next year.  Hey when's Homo's wedding?  I wanna crash that sh*t!!!!

i agree with krum. if mcnabb goes down with a significant injury next year, then i do believe that kolb will become the starting qb at least for next season. i of course hope that doesn not happen, but in the case that it does, then i think that mcnabb's career in philly is definately over. also, alot of people think that the Eagles made a dumb move last year after trading their first round pick and picking up kolb in the second round. but the thing is that we cant make too many judgements yet because we still have not seen this kid start a game. from what i know, he had a good college career at houston, and is an accurate passer in the pocket. i am going to trust the eagles organization that they made a good move in getting this guy.

If Philly competes for the division crown and McNabb doen't get hurt, all this talk really wouldn't matter.  I just remember what recently happened to Shaun Alexander.  He was the league's MVP 2006.  Two years later, he is out of a job.  Teams are loyal up to a certain point.  Injuries and poor performance (declining talent and age), will get a player sent packing.  Especially, when your salary is one of the top at your position and have not won a Superbowl.  Philly has done great job of making sure the quarterback position is secure.  I wonder if McNabb understands what this season means for his career???

Terry Glenn? i mean 2006 this guys a 1,000 yard rec and a clear #2 on Dallas. is he on his last leg's? end of his career... at least in Dallas? I haven't heard the latest but Crayton's #2 right? then last i heard Isaiah Stanback is even ahead of Glenn at this point.

I have no idea why we still have Glenn.  He is on his last leg (literally).  I like him, but you can't count on him.  The Colts couldn't count on Marvin Harrison.  Look what happened with his injury.  We are just out of money, so we are hoping for the best with Glenn.  One of our receivers has to have break out season, if Glenn can't go full speed.  If not, my Cowboys will struggle passing the ball like we did at end of last season.  Somebody, anybody man-up.
