OC is batting .220 with only 1 hr and 5 rbis. Last year he def put up career numbers. I still love the guy but as of right now we have a SS who is making highlights everyday and is batting .298 with a 1 hr and 13 rbis. Plus we got Garland is has had a shaky start but he is either untouchable or or unable to get an out. Still he has thrown 44 innings in 7 starts which is 6 and 1/3 innings every start. Plus with 4 wins. Good New is we are atop of AL and we dont have our 2 aces and Vlad or GA isnt hitting the ball right now. And Howie is out too.I cant wait to get everyone healthy and get them rolling.

Go Halos!!!

Brees,

I was definitely a critic of the trade when it happend. It made no sense at the time, to be honest.  I have been tracking OC, and his numbers are really nothing special this year.  The trade is looking smarter and smarter by the day.

1. The emergence of Erick Aybar.

2. The acquiring of inning-eating Jon Garland. (not off to the greatest start, but it's a long season.  His shutout of the Orioles proves what this guy can do)

Go Angels

Garland hasnt had the greatest start but he has only been 2 things this year. Great and Terrible...I am sure yall will all be happy with him if he finds himself somewhere in the middle. I mean dont get me wrong I loved OC he was a great player and leader but it was his time to move on and thank goodness we did be Aybar is a human highlight reel and Garland usually stays healthy which is important especially in our staff right now.

I actually was a fan of the trade because I thought we needed anotehr Starter as I have longed questioned Escobar's durability.  I will admit, however, I thought it would be Macier who stepped up instead of Aybar.

Most of us were disappointed in the O.C., Garland trade because Cabrera was a fan favorite, but I also remember when most of us were angry when the Angels let David Eckstein walk to sign Cabrera.

So Garland  will win 15 games this year Aybar will win the gold glove in his rookie season the Angels will hoist another World Series banner and we'll all be happy

OC may be hitting just .220 with one homer so far but look who he's playing for.

Aybar has filled in nicely so far however.  Whew!  But we're still early in the season so it should be interesting to see if Aybar can keep it going all season.  I have a hunch that he will.

Greetings to all from Chicago.

Anaheim got a great deal in Garland, I hated to see him go!  Garland has the potential of  being a 20 game winner.  Plus, Chicago brass couldn't keep him he was looking for some
warm weather, add some huge run production with a fast team and Anaheim is gonna go places.  I drafted Garland and Escobar in my fantasy league and I can't tell you how disappointed I was to see KE on the DL.  Best of luck to you in Anaheim, Garland will get you there.

Alot of you also questioned that non trade for Miguel Cabrera, and that might be Tony Regins best move yet I mean could you imagine not having Joe Saunders or Ervin Santana or Jeff Mathis and Howie Kendrick. Were would this team be right now without them
