I am a very proud Rangers fan today...The fight they put up against the extremely talented and skilled Penguins had me standing and cheering for the Blue Shirts after today's crushing defeat in overtime...My hat goes off to the Penguins as they truly were the better team in the series...

The mix of young guns and experienced veterans have me excited about what the future holds...We have a future captain in Brandon Dubinsky and a future Norris Trophy winner in Marc Staal..The future is bright with the league's best goaltender...Henrik Lundqvist!!!

The season is over and I would have loved to see one last curtain call from my boys, but it ended on the road!!!

Once again, I am a very proud Rangers fan on this sad day!!!

LETS GO RANGERS!!!!

Brodeur, Luongo, DiPietro, Nabokov-All are better than Queen Henrik

There's no way that DiPietro is better than Lundqvist. I'm not sure if u watched this series, but if not for Lundqvist the Rangers would have been swept in a best of 9 series. He was that good, and he'll get better with more playoff experience.

The main problem the team had, and must address before next season, is their lack of an efficient PP unit. It severely handicapped them in this series.

I wonder what will be with Jagr, and Shanahan.

It was a fun season, but I thought if we took this then there was no stopping us........

DiPietro was a 1st overall pick and the starting East goaltender in the All Star game. He can carry a team, and he is the best puckhandling goalie in the league.

He is FAR better than Lundqvist

If Rick DiPietro can carry a team, where were the Islanders this playoff season?? I'm a little confused!!! I mean he carried the team to the 5th pick in the NHL draft!! I guess thats good!!! Oh wait, its not good at all!!! Doesn't that mean you were the 5th worst team in hockey???

Get a clue bro!!! Lets not make an A$$ out of ourselves here!!

He is not the best goalie in the league but he is top 5 ,as for this year big disappointment especially games 1 and 3,and next year will hinge on what they are going to do with Jagr ,bringing in somebody who can run the power play from the point and replacing Shanahan with a scorer, Drury will fill the leader role.

Let me correct that big disappointment in the playoffs the regular season produced some good young talent and Gomez and Drury will be better next year , its not easy getting used to the worst ice in hockey at MSG
