I guess everyone thinks UK is a rollover again this year ... Doesn't suprise me Dodd thinks so <--- he's pretty much the most worthless columnist EVER! SEC better watch out for either Pulley or Hartline - the kids can play ... and the defense is better

No one is talking about the guy to replace Woodson.  UK had the stars aligned for them last year with talent and fell on their face....as usual.  Go back to the basketball board where you can get some attn.  UK is good to upset one team a year maybe and then blow late leads in the rest of thier tough games.  They will fight S Carolina and Vandy for the SEC East basement.

Sorry, but they are right.  Last year was the year for the Wildcats and they blew it.  I will consider the week we play this season a bye week.  How many years in a row has it been?  Twenty something??

I do believe Dodd had Kentucky in last years pre season top 25.

But for 08 I do agree, looks like the bowl run will be over

it isn't a real stretch to see why any college football fan would assume that UK would revert back to the bad ol' days is it ? I, on the other hand think that you are better now than in years past, and i think that Brooks is doing a pretty darn good impression of a football coach at a b-ball school.

Sure peeled my eyes back two years ago when they beat up my Tigers in Nashville. All that aside, a third or fourth place finish in the SEC east this year would be about right. Sorry, but this is Wildcat football wer'e talkin' bout ain't it?

Hey, Dodd.  Since we're on the subject of QBs, I've got a question for you.  How does a kid that threw for 5700 yards and 48 TD passes, with 14 interceptions not AT LEAST get INVITED to the Downtown Athletic Club?  Don't know who I'm talking about?  That would be none other than one Graham Harrell of Texas Tech University?

Sam Bradford is on your list?  C'mon, Denny.

WE didn't fall on our faces, we just lost some close games. We have an experienced defense now, with pretty much everybody coming back, we are only missing the core of our offense. When the defense made stops, the offense couldn't back it up i.e. losses to UT, UGA, and UF. We will also have a quick team next year. I think we will be bowl eligible, but probably not as good as last year, in terms of playing. We could end up w/the same record, considering that last year we could have had a better record.

Thats the point, you're supposed to win the close games. Not lose them. Kentucky has had it wrong for quite a while it seems.
