Seriously, just let it go and accept that each conference has their strong and weak teams.

Big Ten:  I don't care what year it is, Ohio State and Michigan are the teams to beat.  Unless your team can get past these two juggernauts during the season, more than likely your team will not win the conference.  IU, Illinois, Northwestern, Purdue, and Michigan State all have potential to be good teams, but it just seems that it is difficult for them to recruit against the big two (Ohio St./Michigan).

Big XII:  Texas and Oklahoma are still kings of not only the Big 12 South, but hold their own fairly well against the North division.  Let's face it, there are other great teams in this conference, but what are going to be the two teams that everyone talks about?  Mizzou, KU, A+M, and Tech will all be much better this year, but this is nothing we haven't heard before.  Until I start seeing some more consistent results, the 'Horns and Sooners dominate this conference.

Pac-10:  I think this one is relatively self-explanatory.  USC is the king of the Pac-10, and without a doubt is the team to beat in this conference.  UCLA, Cal, and Oregon always seem to start off well, but between the 3 of them, at least one will drop off the deep end and have 4 to 6 losses by the end of the season.  Until the other teams in this conference can recruit at a level similar to USC, they will not be expected to get more than 6 or 7 wins in this conference (and if it's more than that, I will honestly be surprised).

Big East:  I think the Big East is still recovering from the ACC raid, so the teams are not doing as well as they could be.  I think that this will be the year that you start to see more parity and not have WVU or Louisville dominate the majority of the conference (I know Louisville didn't do well this past year, but they're still one of the better teams in this conference).  It will only be a matter of time before USF wins the Big East, and I can see Rutgers staying on at least a competitive level with everyone else.  UConn is a ? but that doesn't mean anything bad.  Pittsburgh seems to have the talent...I'm just not sure they have the right coach (just because a coach has ties to your university doesn't mean he's the right one for the job).

ACC:  I think out of all the BCS conferences, the ACC is the most unpredictable.  FSU does not seem to be feared as much as they used to be, and as much respect as I have for ol' Bobby, I can't seen the Seminoles going anywhere until he steps down.  Wake Forest won this conference in '06, which not to knock them, but I never expected to see that happen.  Boston College was #2 at one point last year, but ended up with 3 losses by the end of the season.  Miami is still recovering from not having a decent coach and having to leave the Orange Bowl to share a stadium with the Dolphins.  Virginia Tech seems to be the only consistent team I can find in this conference.  I say this because their coach knows what he is doing and even if he doesn't have the best talent, he makes great use out of what he has.

SEC:  Auburn finds ways to win big games, as does LSU.  Arkansas can be good, but end up losing games they shouldn't.  Florida will be a consistent threat, along with Georgia and Tennessee.  South Carolina, even with a great coach, will not get to the point that some people think (winning the East division and possibly the conference, along with the Sugar Bowl).  Vanderbilt seems to struggle with recruiting because of UT's stronger program.  Kentucky can be so much better, but the support is just not there from the administration because of the focus on basketball.  The fan base is there, but unfortunately that will only get this program so far.  Alabama is always a wildcard, and will only get better in the next few years.

I know these are more general statements, but I think it's a fair description of each conference.  Every conference has their ups and downs, and every conference has their good and bad years.  It's OK to have a favorite conference, but don't be so ignorant that you start to believe all the other conferences are second-rate to yours.  All this does is make other people who are not ignorant and biased seem equally as stupid just because they are in the same fan base.  College football might not be perfect, but it's still a great sport to watch, so let's all just enjoy it and move on.
