WIth Posada out at the most 5 weeks why not bring the kid up?  I realize He is only in A ball but this is our apparent catch of the Future.  So why not give him a little taste of the big leagues now he hits for power and average and to be honest with you I'd rather see what we got with him then see what we got with the guys that have been brought up or signed not that moeller has done a bad job cause he hasn't I just wanna see what the kid can do in the Bigs.  Also another thought If Rasner fails who do the yanks go to next?

I'm afraid it's not a case of "if" Rasner fails, but how long it will be untill the hitters solve his stuff or the injury bug hits him.

As for Moreno, he is young and inexperienced, I would have to see if his manager thinks he wouldbe overawed by an early exposure to the majors, and what it would do to his confidence if he was a total flop.

Catcher is a type of position where you can't skip steps. Most young catchers have to make their way through every level, before coming to the majors. You don't see many raw catchers in the MLB, especially during the regular season. If this was the case, Matt Wieters from the Orioles would be behind home plate for them right now.

Another thing to consider is the Yankees are paying Molina a lot. If he were on the Marlins, he would be their 3rd highest player. So he is going to be the primary catcher while Posada is gone. Therefore bringing Montero up to sit the bench or catch once or twice a week won't do him any good, it would stunt his growth.
