John Riek has entered the draft and even if he doesn't sign with an agent, there's no way he goes to Duke.  First off he doe not have the grades to get into Duke, and secondly, his top college choice is South Florida.  I don't think he would have helped Duke much next year, anyway.

Is he old enough to enter?

He spent a year at Winchendon School whihc is a post grad school. This makes him eligible for the Draft. I duno where you heard USF though. I saw Georgetown, Duke, Uconn, and Florida as his final choices.

Yeah he's old enough as he actually is closer to 30 than 18 and attended prep school next year.  He added South Florida as his favorite late in the recruiting process according to Scout.com.  I don't think he can get in anywhere as he won't have a good enough SAT score if he does take it.

Why do dookies always assume that their basketball players have to make the same grades as the rest of their admitted freshmen.  Do you realize your basketball program is not even in the top 10 when it comes to academic standards/performance?

Did you actually read my post firepacker?  I believe I said:

I don't think he can get in anywhere as he won't have a good enough SAT score if he does take it.

That didn't refer to Duke's admission standards anywhere, but just any university in general.  Anyway, do you know anything about John Riek at all?  That guy might be the dumbest as well as the most overrated player no matter what level of basketball.  I have no idea why some of the top programs such as Duke, UConn, Georgetown, and Florida had so much interest in him.  He has no offensive game at all to go along with the fact that there is no way he could ever pass a college course
