I agree, Stafford is overrated

Sad to think if Im correct that ESPN had him as the better QB in 07 than Ainge.

And what did ainge do besides lose in the sec champ.Thats what i thought.I cannot wait until fat phil and his pumpkin patch come to athens.the only thing i see overrated is your post.See you soon.

Ok so I am a UGA fan commenting on this so I will not slam Stafford.  I understand why people may scratch their heads when they see Stafford as a #1 pick and then see his mediocre stats.  First understand that in year one he was a TRUE freshman which is tough and year two he was behind a really young oline and iis running a run first offense.  That said Stafford can be frustrating to watch as a UGA fan b/c with all his talents he techniques are puzzling esspecially when he throws off his back foot.

The reason why Stafford is considered such a big pro prospect is the skills he has.  He is big, has a rocket for an arm, and can move in the pocket.  No comparing him mentally to John Elway but physically he is out of the same mold.  He is a special talent but I agree as a fan I really hope to see him have a huge season by getting his completion % up and INT's down.  I am not so concerened about 300 yard games b/c he will have one of, if not the best RB combination behind him with a solid oline to run block.
