It took a month of the season but CC finally showed the form that won him the awards last season.  Even though he lost, a 1-0 decision against those guys from NY, he finally showed the control that he can have on the ball.

Although I was hoping for low numbers from him this season, can you say contract negotiations.... I don't want to see the Indians suffer as they have been...

While CC is showing some life the rest of the rotation, minus one, also look dead.  It's not like they're losing one run games either.  The bats are dead, and the pitching borders on double AA caliber so far.  As a real Indians fan, I can say I expected this let down from last season (historically speaking this is the norm).  Can anyone else really say they expected otherwise.

Let's just hope the Tribe can pick up another starter off the waiver wires before the season gets too old... At least the core of the team is under contract for the next three years.  Finally some hope once again for Tribe fans.  Now let's just hope the Tribe wakes up, and quickly, or this year's team will be just another bunch of underachievers and choke artists from Cleveland.  I really hate hearing that from all the sports networks, all the time...
