ANOTHER NFL PLAYER INVOLVED IN GUN PLAY.   YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME.  DO THESE GUYS NOT MAKE ENOUGH MONEY TO STAY OUT OF THE STREETS?  I MEAN REALLY, DO THEY NOT HAVE THE SENSE TO JUST LAY LOW AND ENJOY BEING WEALTHY?

From what I read, Harrison was kicking out an unruly customer from the bar he owns when whatever it was happened. Harrison also is a registered owner of 25 guns and has a legal lisence to carry. Whatever it was that happened, it's not like he was involved in a street fight or gang related activity, plus the man who's hand was "grazed" is a convicted felon. Also, I think Harrison has filled the mold of "laying low" as you put it for the last 10 years.  Even if Harrison is guilty of a crime in this case, I don't think that he should be written off as an OJ or Pacman-like character until the facts come out.

The report I read said that Harrison beat the crap out of the guy.  Also, it is 100 % that the guy involved in the shooting is legally registered to Harrison.  The law says that if it is your gun involved in the shooting, than you are at fault.  Harrison will definetly be charged.  Also, there are witnesses that say they saw Harrison firing the gun.

Really?!  He went out to party!  He was not on the streets like a thug or something.  Unfortunately Harrison was at the wrong place at the wrong time.  Besides, he didnt pull the trigger....his groupie did.

It is a little quick to judge Marvin Harrison as one of the NFL gangsters.  Give it a rest and quite listening to talk radio propoganda until it is sorted out.  Marvin has been nothing but an outstanding player and positive representative of this team in Indpls.

In a related story, Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones immediately expressed interest in acquiring Harrison upon learning of his connection to a shooting.

seriously, haven't NFL players learned: if you want to commit a crime that won't affect your NFL career, beat your wife or rape a woman.  You don't get punished for those crimes.  killing dogs, getting in fights, or being in the area when somebody you know shoots someone, now those are the sorts of crimes the NFL punishes.
