You guys had the "Bungles" title hanging over your head becuase the team culdn't draft and couldn't win for a decade, and now that the team has turned it around on the field, this is the price you're having to pay.  I can imagine it being frustrating hearing about these guys getting busted left and right.  As a Titans fan I can empathize with you, but I can also tell you that it will eventually end.  Hang in there.

I thank you sincerely for the words.  As someone who watched the Bengals struggle and fail year in and year out during the 90's, obtaining Marvin Lewis and Carson Palmer back in 2003 was just incredible.  The city was excited, and the team was finally competitive.  Making the playoffs in 2005 seemed like the start of something new and incredible in Cincinnati, and it seemed that our status as the laughing stock of the league was finally behind us.  Sadly, it seems our laughing stock status is back, but for entirely different reasons.  I'm not sure if it's Marvin or something else, but the recent run of player behavior has been absolutely inexcusable.

In any event, I appreciate your nice words.  Most everyone else likes to rub it in our faces!  Best of luck to your squads - I think both the Huskers with Osborne back in the mix, and the Titans could be teams on the rise.  Hopefully the Bengals won't return to the dark days anytime soon.

It never ends!!!!!!!!!!

Punching a woman in the face? WTF is wrong with you Ahmad Brooks?

You know, I could deal with the team losing in the 90's and being called a Bungle but this is actually making want to be a fan of another team.

A couple years ago, it looked like we had turned it all around. An 11-5 record, great offense, defense looking like it was improving, and now we have a team full of idiots and selfish A-holes.

I can barely believe this. Cut Brooks right now!

I certainly don't dispute your feeings in regard to punching a woman, but I think I'm going to reserve my full and final judgement for more details on this situation.  The article mentions that there was a dispute, and this lady stepped into try to break it up, at which time she was struck by Brooks.  It could be a case where he was already mid-punch and she stepped into it.  Breaking up a fight is a pretty risky thing to do in any situation, but moreso when involving someone the size of Ahmad.

If it turns out that Brooks just hauled off and punched this lady, then I will be right with you on your comments because that's about as low as it gets.

It all starts with Mike Brown.  He's the cheapest owner in the league and he's put Marvin in this situation where he has to look for "deals" in the draft.  Of course, there are reasons why  everyone else passes on these bozos.
I mean, Mike Brown drives a Ford Taurus.  Yes.....an NFL owner drives a Taurus.  The dude just refuses to spend.  I would like to be optimistic, but I've been a Bengals fan way too long for that.
On a side note, that's also the reason why Chad is going NOWHERE.  No way in hell MIke Brown eats that $8 million cap hit-not a chance.
