I read on NJ.com that 99% of Rutgers season tickets were renewed and the waiting list is over 11,000. Good news for the program, bad news for dbull as he will need to likely wait another year for his season tickets.
I also read that the BE is leaving the Texas Bowl in favor of abowl in St. Pete. Somehow, the changes also result in the BE opponent in the papajohn's bowl being an SEC team instead of a C-USA team. More good news I would say.
Sorry about the tickets dbull, but if it is any consolation, we are in the same boat. I just buy tickets from the guys walking around the parking lot. As for the bowl game with the SEC = more respect, I love ITTTT, I LLLLOOOOVVEE IITTTT, I Love IITTTTT, I LLLLOOOOVVEE IITTTT, I LOVE ITTTT, I LLOOOOOVVVVEE IIIITTTTTTT, YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA.
~ehem~
sorry about that, dunno what came over me...
some guys in the the group of guys that i buy my tix with werent sure about if they wanted their tix this year, so collectivly the rest of us bought em knowing we would have no problem finding people to buy em.... its gonna be like giants and jets tickets where you are on the waiting list for like for 5 years before you get em.... hehe... as for that st peters bowl im down for it... its an indoor dome in floridia... both work for me!
Appears that I'm in good company on the waiting list. I don't mind. I got to see MD, Cinncy, USF, and Pitt last year just being on the waiting list. So I missed Buffalo and Norfolk St. West Virginia obviously I would have like to have seen.
I like the idea that they are playing a Bowl game in the St.Pete area.I live not to far away and would be nice to see a game there. If it were Rutgers,it would make it extra special. On the other hand that means Rutgers did'nt have a great season either,so you have the good with the bad I guess.
I just renewed my 6 lower seats. The only problem to consider was the slight kick up in price. All in all, its been fantastic being at the stadium and watching the live manifestation of RU football. Game day is so much different than when you could pick a seat at will and watch the likes of Miami, WVU, BC, New Hampshire and Villinova crap on us.

I'd much rather see you at a game down in Miami this January, ohboy11.
