LSU people dont know about college football....come on, we are just defending our name and reputation..... U kep talking about our schedule, but the reason that LSU wont be ranked in the Top 5, maybe Top 10, is because of our schedule, not because of our defense....not because of our excess in offensive weapons, not even because of our starting QB is not Perrilloux.

And i do know about other conferences....the Pac-10 had 1 less guy drafted than the SEC....The Pac-10 is very good, especially at the offensive skilled positions....USC had 4 1st rounders this year...similar to LSUs 4 the year before.

The Big 12 is a very physical line play on both sides of the balll....they like to pound the ball except for afew up and coming programs like Mizzou and Kansas.

The ACC is a good mixture of diiferent styles....definitely a coaching conference due to the variety....try and compare Clemson to Miami to Virginia Tech to Maryland...one bad call or play and u lose...

And finally the Big 10...i mentioned them 5th because thats their strength...thank god Illinois might actually bring the Big 10 back to respectability (with the exception of ESPN-they do have a contract with them so they are a lil biased)....With the Zookster recruiting at a basketball school and stopping Ohio St and Michigan from padding their stats are gonna make those other coaches start working again....The Big 10 used to be alot better (look where most of the SEC coaches came from) but huge egos have led to complacency

Oh yeah and they have trouble with Div 1-A teams....lol

So get off ur high horse (its just a shetland) and hold your schools accountable.  LSU fans love football, love their football team, but most importantly the love winning and when we don't win, we are the first ones to acknowledge it....believe me when i tell you this, The pressure to coach at LSU or most other SEC school is extremely high, but the good ones thrive in it.

I am not saying that other schools in other conferences dont have the pressure, but its not as high...especially once we are 3-4 weeks into the conference schedule

this arguement could go on forever....the year USC blew out Ark and then LSU barely beat them was the same year LSu blew out Arizona and USC barely beat them...Its college football...there are alot of variables, and most of them are not logical

I just wish the Rose Bowl officials (talk about homers) would have let LSU play USC in the Rose Bowl 2 years ago....that would have settled alot of crap

USC beat the only team that beat OSU at OSU- badly... are you not then just diminishing LSUs win?

the "this team beat that team so they are better than this team" logic does not work, and it only makes you look stupid when you try to use it

one example. Texas Beat Texas Tech, and Texas Tech beat Oklahoma so using the logic you present Texas should had beat Oklahoma

Notre Dame...Appalachain St...whats the difference right now (scholarships might be the only difference).....As I stated before, schools break contracts or postpone them with LSU...we like the free money to enhance our facilities, but YES i would luv to see USC or Michigan or West Virginia or even Hawaii (we can go there first...lol) instead of North Texas and Tulane, but they also take less of LSUs profits and our facilities get even better...its a great recruiting tool...and we get to go to a BCS bowl again and blow out some unknowing fool...haha

How does this happen for two teams in the same conference?Drive time between UGA & Clemson is probably 1.5 hours....drive time between UGA & LSU is about 10 hours....drive time between Rice & LSU is about 4 hours and Houston probably has more LSU alumni than any other city....recruiting area for LSU...however, we now very rarely play Rice.

This is why people hate you SEC homers. To beef up your schedule? What the hell else does the Pac 10 have to prove? You hate people because they think their conference is tough....think about that.

Come on Tall... have some respect for the Pac 10.
I've lived in Pac-10 country since 1991, gone to many games at several Pac-10 venues, have defended the Pac-10 against many of my friends comments, and my son just graduated from a Pac-10 University....don't worry, I respect the Pac-10 and greatly respect the Trojans program in the Pete Carroll era... but since the inception of the BCS system, the Pac-10 is 1-1 in the BCS championship game while the SEC is 4-0....so 1 BCS Title to 4 for the SEC...since the last time a Pac-10 team other than USC won the Mythical National Title, Bama & Tennessee won Titles and LSU & UF won 2....need I remind you that SEC teams have won the last 2 Titles...so have some respect for the SEC would ya.
