Simba - Final cut number has always been a 53 man roster. Also, I think Kevin there has a point. I see Fluellen pushing Cody over the cut line. We will possibly cut our losses on Cody soon. I also think that there still might be some movement with Mcdonald. His knee surgery from last season limiting his practice time and being at the end of a contract might put him out there. I think the Lions would have took anything less than a 5th for him during the draft if it was offered. I think the surgery scared people away. If he shows anything good during camp that shows progress, I will assume they ship him off to San Fran to replace the 4th rounder we traded. Remember, in Coletto's schemes there is no 4 man receiver sets, (or very little I should say) we will probably have Williams and Johnson out there mostly along with a TE,FB,RB set. Furrey can easily run any three man sets and Moore and maybe Middleton could be depth. McDonald is not needed, if there is no trade offers he may even be cut.

Don't be suprised if Calhoun stays on the team. He has been injured but Marinelli has spoken of him very highly this off-season at times when speaking of the running back corps.
