Does anyone know how some of these big name freshman we signed have been doing? I read the article where Petrino said they need to be ready and stronger.

So I am wondering if anyone knows if Adams, Wright, Curtis, Wilson, etc.. have been working hard and getting bigger and ready for their freshman year where their name may be called to contribute right away.

We need some of these freshman not only to contribute and make impacts but to be the future of the program. WR , LB, and RB need to be solid out of these guys. And if youngblood and Wilson come ready to go they may be able to push Dick to another level.

Let me know what you all know.

I have not heard if they are progressing or not.  You can look on the website www.hogwild.com and that should provide some information.

The Hawgs lost a lot of talent last year.  It should be an interesting season.  We had just over 40,000 attend the spring game last Saturday.

Adams, Wright, and Curtis all do Track & Field, so its understandable that they are all staying in shape by running and lifting weights.

Tyler Wilson is the only one I truly know anything about.  He is playing baseball for the Greenwood Bulldogs, and the kid is lighting it up. I am not sure what all his individual stats are, but the kid can flat hit the ball. He is also a starting pitcher, he was recruited by some of the best college and pro teams for baseball. He has a fastball that has been clocked at 96 MPH, and a nasty slider. Right now he is 11-0 as a starter with an ERA around 0.75.

Nasty Stuff!
