Great info C-Cal. I really like the info about the Grizz as I dont get to keep track of them much. I do get to see alot of the San Jose  team when I go to the Modesto Nuts games. Alot of talented pitching and i really like Pablo Sandoval in SJ. The Giants are going to neeed a good young catcher  in a few years.

Thanks for the info, I am going to see the Grizzlies here in OKC on the 13th, so hopefully the boys pitch well and Schierholtz hits a couple of bombs.

I want to get some feed back from everybody as who we should get rid of and who to replace them with.  Here are some players who by performance or age should not be on this rebuild any longer so tell me what you think.

Players gone:  Jack Taschner 5.4 ERA 30 years old, Brad Hennessey 11.85 ERA enough said, Keiichi Yabu 3.45 ERA 39 years old, Rich Aurilia .232 AVG 36 years old, Ray Durham .247 AVG 36 years old, Randy Winn .241 AVG 33 years old.

Bring them up:  Geno Espinelli RP 1.23 ERA 26 years old, Alexander Hinshaw RP .93 ERA 25 years old, Billy Sadler RP 1.32 ERA 26 years old, Julio Cordido 2B .319 AVG 27 years old,  Nate Schierholtz OF .295 AVG 24 years old, Justin Leone 3B .236 AVG 8HR 31 years old cheaper then Aurilia.

So tell me what everybody thinks about making these changes.

Cal how about Noonan for 2nd base i know he is only 20 but Felipe Alou says he will be ready by next year that he is the real deal. Also what is the deal with Nate Schierholtz, why arent the Giants trying to make a move to bring him up?They could put Browker down and bring him up for rest of season and let him play?I know he is out of options but my god lets bring him up now and play him so we can see what he can do for a season.Alou says minors are stacked and talent is there so with right moves team can be better sooner than expected.

It would be an excellent idea C-Cal. I think the Giants are just sitting there eating all the vets contracts until they can be released. Next year will e a mutch different looking team. It would be nice having the younger guys up in the bigs right now but I dont think it is going to happen.

Wow what a post!!  Thanks!!

Yeah I would love to see some of those guys called up earlier but I have to admit I am pretty happy with the number of young guys that we have given quality playing time to this year.
