Ginney -

I was not trying to be condescending so try not to take it that way.  However, we do have a fundamental disagreement on what you purchase when you buy a ticket to a sporting event.  My belief is simply this, the price I pay for that ticket buys me admission to a game - nothing more, nothing less.  If, I decide that Reinsdorf, Paxson, etc. are cheap, boobs, or whatever, I stop paying for the product.  But if Reinsdorf, like he has today, decides that a certain coach is too rich for his blood as he has with D'Antoni, I can live with it.  My concern is that the coach that is hired is capable.

As I said in the earlier post you took exception with, I have no idea if Tom Thibodeau can run a team, manage the clock, teach, kick ass, or any other things this team needs.  That is John Paxson's decision to make.  Where we do agree is that as Bulls' fans, we want him to make the correct one.  My reply to you was not intended to be antagonistic and, neither is this one.

Jazzman61,

were cool, sorry i was a little sensetive.

I have said in recent posts that i think Pax will miss the boat on the right coach, and have to settle for one that is left over.

I hope that is someone that will pan out to be as good as the proven coaches that he is missing out on.

He has some of the most loyal fans that any franchise could hope to have, and is putting that to risk. I also think he made a big mistake in not hiring Carlisle who was had for a mere 4/17.

It now looks like Tom Thibodeau will be the front runner, IF he doesn't turn it down. He will also know that he has the upper hand in the negotiation as far as money, because the Bulls are nearing the end of the rope. He shouls ask for 4/16, and get it, where we could have had Carlisle for a extra mill.
