Let's just hope neither Cashman or Hank are not tempted in the least to sign Bonds.

No f**king way to signing Bonds!!!!!!!!!!!

He is useless. The last thing he need is another overpaid OLD power-hitter who has no speed or agility when we have perfectly good talent in the farm system like DH Matt Carson who hits bombs for Trenton Thunder who we can actually get some use of for more than half of a season.  We need to develop kids and stop adding old expensive has-beens to our roster.  Maybe then we wouldn't have to pay 12.50 for a freakin  24ounce Fosters to wash down the 8.50 sausage sandwich at the game.

And another thing.... our outfield is old as hell.  Thank God the Yankees didnt find a way to trade melky in the offseason.... and you know he was included in MANY trade talks, because without him they would be screwed!!  It is ridiculous that we have to grow the grass higher than usual just so the ball dies so old farts like Damon and Hideki can actually get to the ball before it gets by them..  Last night if we had a young left fielder who could have caught that ball that Matsui just couldnt reach in the 3rd inning we would have won the game.  These old farts have to go!

First of all there is not spot on the team for him. We already have 4 regular out fielders and to many people to rotate at the DH. Plus why add a distraction to your team. He has never been a team player or even liked by his teammates. That's not what the Yankees need when they have such a good young presence on there team right now. Plus who knows if he could even stay healthy to be worth singing.

Our offense is pathetic at the moment I say give Barry a chance he'd prolly sign for peanuts and maybe just maybe it could get our offense going ya i know theres no room for him.  So make room the others guys ain't being to productive either not at all.  I know this that if George where five years younger we'd have Barry Bonds on this team come to think of it we'd also have Johan but i still think the kids will work out the kinks I am a lil but more relieved to know that hughes is hurt sucks to lose him for 2months but he atleast we know or can think thats y he not pitching like we know or would like to believe he could pitch.  I say put in a call to Bonds he said already he would like to play for the Yanks imagine the lineup I know you all don't care but just imagine

If the Yankes call Barry it would be the biggest waste of money next to Pavano and some of the other clowns they have signed in recent years. New York doesn't want him or need him around.

The Yankees have too many big money hitters at this point. When Arod and Posada get healthy, that DH spot will be used to give players a break, not on a controversial roider.

You guys are right cause Giambi is doing a hell of a job.  they give him the whole left side of the infield and yet he continues to pull the ball and get hits O wait no he doesn't for god sakes man bunt the ball down the line and you'll get a double.  Buy him out now and sign Bonds
