I think UCONN is an up and comer in college football, but to be honest, I'm kind of embarassed that their who we decided to put on.

Hope this can be resolved when ND is looking for another team on their schedule.  I was looking to go to South bend to watch RU and ND.  Never thought I'd say that as an RU fan.  Just gives me more time to save up.  Later.

Hey guys, hate to burst a bubble. ND asked for 65% of gate and the luxury seats. This would be no big finacial boom for Rutgers or NJ. As a matter of fact it would have been a big bust to Rutgers in justifying expansion. Good business on the part of ND to ask for the Meadowlands and good business for Rutgers to turn it down.

I am not going to knock ND for asking for what they know they can get from just about anyone else. As a matter of fact I would have to believe this is normal business for them and were very much surprised that Rutgers turned it down.

Yes, the press has been quick to jump on the rutgers bandwagon on this one but it could have went away very quickly if White had taken the high road and not made the comments he did. Rutgers still has a lot to prove but they should be allowed to prove it on their own turf.

Just a small note. Take a look at many recruits and see how many have ND and Rutgers on their short list. And think back 3 years and look back then. Even if you say it is only 3 or 4 looking at Rutgers, 3 years ago it was 0. I don't see any of your recruits with Uconn on their shortlist.

Rutgersfan, where did you get your numbers from?  ND wanted 50% of luxury and 40% of the gate or vice versa.  It wasn't some 65% as you said.  With some 20K+ more seating I gotta believe (but could be wrong) that Rutgers would of made out playing ND at the Meadowlands which would of helped them fund the expansion.  I think ND should of at least offered a 3 home, 1 nuetral, 1 away(piscataway) or a 3 -2 -1 but what can you do.
