I am a huge Steelers fan and live in New York. I root hard for the Steelers and Rangers and when I go out to Pittsburgh to watch the Steelers play the fans are great. But too bad Pens fans are classless morons. Boo Jagr good job the guy won you how many cups and took that crap franchise and put it on the map. I wont even mention how the pens tanked the season to get Lemieux great sportsmanship. Maybe just maybe Pens fans can get a clue on how to act from Steelers fans. When Faneca steps back into Heinz to play for the Jets you wont see Steelers fans booing will you.....

My god everyone here needs to shut up.  Its true the Penguins were handed this series but the refs didnt do it the Rangers did.  Listen I am as big a Ranger fan as every one here and yes some questionable calls went pitts way but some went are way too and they took advantage of them.  And as far as the game 2 goal is concerned yes it was prob the wrong call and the wrong wqay to decide a great game but anyone who watches hockey sees that same call at least once a week.  Pitt has earned their 3 to 1 lead not been handed it   but ......  with Jagr and King Henrik I still believe  LETS GO RANGERS!!!!

Im sorry for saying everyone needed to shut up which isnt true.  Just the conspiracy theorists for the Penguins to win.  Who both dont give the pens credit for their lead or give their own team, the Rangers, a shot for a comeback.  So for everyone else who placed thought through and intelligent points on this thread I apologize to you both nyr and pitt fans alike.

kudos to jlebla for respectable points.  Jaromir Jagr is going to be the big name in the game today. he's leaning towards the end of his career and he is going to play with heart and remind the Penguins of what they miss in him. it kills me that all these penguins fans bash him, when you know they're going to try to resign him at the end of the year when he becomes a free agent anyway.  too bad you can't afford him, cuz its always nice to see a player retire on a team that he pretty much put on the map, with the help of the only other big name in your history, mario lemieux

LET'S GO Rangers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There is already so much complaining going on right now. And I thought Patriots fans were bad...

Look, if you want to blame the refs, then blame the refs. The Rangers did not take advantage of the opportunities that they had, and the Penguins did. I thought that was a penalty on Ryan Malone as well, but if the call isn't made, you have to go with what is given to you.

If it wasn't for Henrik's great saves, the Penguins would have probably scored at least 3 more goals. He played the best that he could, but Fleury is too good.

And for Jaromir Jagr... what a sad way to go out. The Rangers probably won't resign him. He was never the same player after the hit from Jarkko Ruutu in the 2006 Olympics. Evgeni Malkin and Sidney Crosby are two of the best players in the game, no matter what other people may think about them.

The Rangers had a good season, but were disappointing in the playoffs again.
