I watched last night's game with a Penguin's fan and a Canadien's fan and all three of us were up in arms about the penalties last night. I can understand that the NHL wants young guns in the finals, but make it a little less noticeable, and would it really be that bad to see the best hockey town in North America host the cup finals.

So yea I sat there with one of the enemy's fans and could both not understand the complete biased penalty calling. Go Flyers, its going to be 6 vs 5 on the ice the rest of the playoffs for us because of the refs being the opposition's extra man game in and game out.

That was horrible, I haven't seen officiating that bad in a long time, we were lucky to get out of that one, Biron was stellar yet again!

LOL... yea, doesn't seem like the league/ officials want to see win for some reason. Terrible calls so far during this series.

I agree. I'm usually not one to complain about the ref calls since most of the time they balance out but this series has been pretty bad. There has always been a slant towards the Canadian teams in the playoffs (especially when there is only one Canadian team left) for as long as I can remember but it's never been this obvious. In the past you could just shake your head and know that Toronto or Montreal will get a call here and there but you always knew it was small calls that no one would notice too much. Well now they are not even trying to hide it! Flyers are playing against the entire nation of Canada right now....that's fine though. Win Game 4 and things will be looking good.

Go Flyboys!
