OKMan, Here's my take:
8/30 Chattanooga -- Complete destruction 56 -7 (agreed, OU scores as many as they want)
9/6 Cincinnati -- Scary early...dominate late 42-14 (Sooners don't score at will but will pull away to a good win. I like your score)
9/13 at Washington -- decent test...Sooners still dominate 35-14 (I think UDUB is over rated but we will get another PAC 1.5 officiating fiasco. OU by a couple of TDs but should have been 3 or 4)
9/27 TCU -- @ss kickin -- 45-0 (Agreed)
10/4 at Baylor -- another @ss kickin -- 42-14 (I like Baylor's fiesty play but they get killed here)
10/11 vs Texas -- thriller...OU 24-21 (beginning of the end for Mac Brown. OU in a comfortable win 35-13. Without Vince Mac is average)
10/18 Kansas -- flash in the pan...OU 35 - 18 (I hope you're right. Kansas sitting right after the Texas game could be a chance for a stumble. OU should win big but will eek out a less than 10 pointer)
10/25 at Kansas State -- this one could be scary...OU 28-14 (This is my biggest worry so far. If OU gets past KU this is where they start to believe they have already earned it. Again, OU is the better team but needs to stay focused for this one)
11/1 Nebraska -- sorry Nebraska, Bo needs a season or two...OU 35-14 (OU never has trouble getting up for the Huskers. They should cruise if they get past KU and Kstate. Tough opponent but they always play to form against Nebraska)
11/8 at Texas A&M -- I hate playing there...OU 28-21 (Agreed, away is my biggest concern. The 12th man in huge and the aggies are tough at home.)
11/15 Texas Tech -- REVENGE!...OU 45-14 (Texas State Champs) (in Norman this one shouldn't be close. REVENGE indeed)
11/29 at Oklahoma State -- The nail in Mike Gundy's coffin....OU 35-21 (I like Gundy but he will get crushed like a bug after an OU blow out. 35-21 may be too conservitive)
12/6 Big 12 CG (TBA) vs Mizzou -- Thank you sir, may I have another...OU 38 - 14 (last year was they're shot and they blew it twice)
SEASON END PREDICTIONS:
If the D plays mean this team could be GREAT!
The running game is outstanding. Better than with AD but no one will be as big a star as him.
Bradford has another fantastic season emerging as a sure top 10 pick for the following year. Size, arm and NFL veteran decision making will be too much for him to return for a senior season (2010).
Wide outs are very good but we lack a true star. Good hands and good speed make for a good year but Grisham is the real stud. He could set records as an OU TE and could be another top 10 draft pick.
If the D gets what I like to call that BOZ attitude the team will vie for a NC. If not, 10-3 and a decent bowl.
