The Browns didn't have a pick until the fourth round and grabbed UNLV linebacker Beau Bell and Missouri tight end Martin Rucker, who could be a factor in the passing game. Ahtyba Rubin is more of a nose tackle in a 3-4 defense. Wide receiver Paul Hubbard is big and athletic, but he's inconsistent catching. Alex Hall will be an OLB in the Browns' scheme. Cleveland only had five picks; however, they traded this year's first-round pick to take QB Brady Quinn last year and traded second- and third-round picks for Corey Williams and Shaun Rogers. When you factor those transactions, the Browns are using the draft process the right way. B+

This is from Mel Kiper on ESPN.  He gave the Browns the highest grade in the draft.  His other rankings were

pittsburg B

Baltimore B

Cincinatti C+

All in all we did well.  Along with our undrafted FAs that we brought in, theres still to be seen what local small school guys we bring in too.  Im satisfied.  The division in general had a good draft.  It would have been nice to have gotten Fabian Washington, we'll see how that turns out.

thanx for the info dogside18.i forgot about brady---in hindsight what a great move!,as ryan, flacco, and henne don't appear to be the real deal.all and all you guys took care of business.

Browns/steelers seem to be in stark contrast to Bengals/ravens------we are on the rise!

but not just divisionally speaking,i think we can run the Patriots.who else is out there, indy -.you guys can beat anybody in your own backyard.i think bigpun1sher has it right-our opponents should be worried about us.

also, yes! that is the classic --intellivision football, the earliest and greatest sporting system off them all----i could go onn and onnn about the epic battles me and my brothers had over intellivision football,basketball,---and what might be the greatest, and for several reasons---h o c k e y---which,if your familiar with ,then you know what intelevision thumb-is all about, damn those little side buttons and disk.we actually wore bandaids cause quitting was impossible!!!!!!!!

i too sadly, lost my intelly about 8 yrs ago-----seems my dic%head brother has an e-bay addiction.but i'm pretty sure the shoebox is still full of games----uhhhh ohhhhhh bandits 12oclock!----remember that one-------the first talking cartridged game--------b-17 bomber baby!better stop now like i said i could go onnnnnnnn and onnnnnnnnn.

I was always partial to "Burger time" and "Burger time Diner".  I was a big fan of the basketball and baseball as well.  Did you have the inserts that come to put over the number pad for each game? I remember having them for Skiing and football.  I used to always pick "Tree Rollins" on my team!!!! GO INTELLIVISION
