Game 5 Spurs vs. Suns thread

Honestly.... I think the Spurs should start Horry instead of Finley....

I know I bashed Horry & I know I said he was done... But if there is one thing he showed me in Game 4... Is that he is big enough & fast enough to bother Boris Diaw..

Boris can't back him down the way he backs down Manu or Finley...

When the Suns bring Nash, Bell, Diaw, Shaq, Amare

The Spurs Should bring Parker, Bowen, Horry, Thomas, Duncan to counter that mis-match...

Basically.... Match Horry's minutes with Diaw's... Same way they match Duncan & Shaq, Thomas/Fabricio with Amare, Bowen & Nash.... Same thing....

JMO...

This way you force the Suns to find another answer... :)

Coach Pop will most likely not let the likes of Boris Diaw & Raja Bell beat the Spurs again.

But I do thank coach D'Antoni for playing them 41 and 45 minutes for some silly reason.

Those 2 players had all the extra energy and spark, yet he pushed them to very end even up 30 points.  Boris Diaw was so gassed he fouled out because he was spent.

It is like a jockey with a comfortable 30 length lead whipping his horse to death in the stretch run so he wins by 31 lengths instead??

I think as a result the Suns hang around but fade in the end as they are running on fumes and pride.

Those extra minutes will come back and haunt the short bench Suns in game 5, 6 ,or 7.

The Spurs are fresh, deep, and focused to end this series.
