Guys i know we've all said it and heard it 1000 times, but i really need to vent again. I have had season tix for the past 15 years and its been a great ride. however I'm watching our great franchise fall apart with poor move after poor move. I said after the deadline that if i was gm, i would of picked up Sergei Federov, who washington got for nothing, and most importantly Hal Gill, who Pitt got for less than nothing. If any of you watched the Ranger game, hal gill was the guy pounding on Avery for the past 2 games, and the guy whos kept him out of Fluery's face for 2 games. I'm not saying having either player would have made a difference, but at least we could of kept our self respect. I think Lou is a great evaluator of talent, but has done such a bad job since the inception of the salary cap, how do you pay Colin White whos 6'5'' and plays like a guy who 5'5' the money were paying him, and pay Pat Elias whos nothing more than an above avg forward 7 million per and let Scotty Neidermeir Walk away, or even let Sheldon Souray go to Edmonton for a few dollars more . To say I've had it is an understatement. I will be back next year, but I'm hoping some way or some how we can get back to throwing teams all over the ice, like the good ole days.
