We are 3 Games over .500 we have sweeps against two of our biggest AL East Adversaries Toronto and Boston, New York is struggling while stays together on one hinge. Baltimore has been phenominal to start but they do not seem to have the pieces of the puzzle to compete outside of Nick Markakis.

So to the point, do you think we can finish over .500 this season and if so, will we get ATLEAST a Wild Card slot this Post Season? Please reign in your thoughts. I love to hear what other Rays Fans think about our direction and where we may end up... In my opinion we can only get better, which with our Payroll compared to the rest of MLB, thats a scarry thought...wait till we start competing and bringing in some Huge Free Agents...

I believe that the Rays will win 80 games this year, but it is still a long season and thing can happen, mainly injuries.  Garza and Kazmir have already had stints on the DL and the Rays have whethered the storm, but who knows if it will strike again.  The backend of the bullpen has also been way better than I think anyone expected, who can tell if a breakdown will happen.  Obviously if the Rays continue to play as well as they have lately, they will challenge for the AL East title, but it is a long time until October and the Rays have a lot of baseball to play.
