You're just picking at details here man...You SAY Felix is a BETTER fit, but we don't KNOW that. Seeeeee, opinionated/educated guess right there.
Who has more lateral quickness? Felix Jones does.
Who was seen more as "bounce it outside" threat as opposed to slamming it between the tackles? Felix Jones was.
Who was acustomed to being a complementary back? Felix Jones was.
THAT's the far better perceived fit, no matter how you want to paint it. Not necessarily a better back, just a better fit.
AND ALL your predictions went as well last year????? The Giants WON the SB for goodness sake---WE BOTH picked them to finish in the cellar last year.
Nope, not all. Never said that -- make things easy for yourself, why don't ya? But I do know one thing for sure: in terms of predictions/forecasts, I did FAR BETTER than you last year.

To clarify: by "never said that" I meant I never said all my predictions were on the mark last year. I definitely saw the Giants as the cellar-dwellar in the NFC East...

Stop it man. You hurting yourself. You can say anything you'd like, but no one knows if ANY player is really going to work out. I KNOW THAT. By the looks of things, Mendenhall, who is injured right now with a hammy, WILL BE the better player when looking back in 15 years. by the looks of things, Felix WAS the better fit for Dallas.
BUT neither of our educated/opinionated guesses are certain to ring true even six months from now.
As for your predictions:
Dallas in the SB or close last year. How'd that one turn out?
Giants in cellar last year. Yeah, we both did it.
Rams were your surprise team last year. Surprise!!!!
New Orleans to take the NFC South last year. Hmmm.
I could go on Axe.
WE ALL make mistakes.
I made some crappy calls too last year. That's why the NFL is so great. We just don't know from year to year. BUT DUDE, do not try and act as if you get it right waaaaaay more than I do or others do on this board. That's really NOT your usual style.
AND yes, by all means give us YOUR NFL predictions for this year. Or When?

WAY too early for me to make predictions -- there are always cap casualties, injuries, surprising camp developments...

Hilarious. Wasn't it you who was posting about how you KNOW that Mendenhall is a better back than Felix Jones and how you KNOW Martellus Bennett wasn't the 2nd best TE in the draft...? Now you want to spin it that no know really knows how things will turn out?
Careful you don't sprain your facial muscles talking out of both sides of your mouth like that.
BUT DUDE, do not try and act as if you get it right waaaaaay more than I do or others do on this board. That's really NOT your usual style.
Don't know about others' predictions. But I'll reiterate what I said earlier concerning me and you, and last year: I certainly didn't hit on all of them, but did far better than you.

Ya know, out of ALL the conversations we have had over the last year or so, and even before on the old boards I suspect, you have tried to one up me.
Why is that?
I made an opinionated/educated guess. Mendenhall IS the better back. Could I be wrong?? Absolutely.
You seem to NEED to make it clear you were/are/will be "MORE" right than I or any other on the boards. You do that in a lot of conversations. I suspect we are both wrong at times and right at others, but you NEED to be right ALL the time. That's always bothered me dude.
I'll also bet that it was a 50/50 or "somewhere close" comparison as to hits and misses for both parties over this past season. BUT hey, that's the fun of it--at least to me.
Stop trying to one up me or be right all the time. It just gets annoying after awhile.
Ya know I can talk stats, theory, and philosophy of football as well as most on this board, as can you, so why the NEED to ATTEMPT to prove you're above the rest of us????
Just simple questions I guess??!!..

Hate to say this, but "right back at ya." The one thing that has irritated the bejesus out of me during our convos has been your need to be right.

Phanatic, you gotta remember he is still the enemy. Well maybe not the enemy...i hate the Cowboys, not there fans. As smart as he may sound some times or think he sounds (elitist), as irritating, as off as some of his opinions may be, as dead on as his opinions are at times, as much tedium he has to endure (had to throw that in), as much as he loves Pro footballtalk weekly, as much as this Philly dude loves his cowboys???... he's a fan of the most hated franchise in all of sports, from a Philly fan prospective. Mets are a close 2nd, at least in my book.
respect him, but not that much...
Hmmm what would be my list of most hated teams... What would yours be?
1. Cowboys
2. Mets
3. Redskins
4. Giants - I dislike them, but not nearly as much as Skins and Boys.
5. 4 team tie-Maple Leafs, Braves, NJ Devils and as of this coming Friday... Pitt Penguins
Crap I forgot about ND, Michigan, and Ohio State...
