They say Mike Hart is slow.  Well watch this video and define the term "slow" for me.  He may not have great straight line speed, but this kid can move.  Notice not only how powerful he is for his size, but his cut back ability, vision,  and burst through the whole is uncanny.  Plus, he is very shifty back as well.  This is EXACTLY the kind of back the Colts needed to spell Addaii.

This guy is going to be a steal.  Mark my words..

Mike Hart is slow. He is also injury prone and (his biggest problem) he has a huge mouth (Napoleon syndrome).

The good news is he went to the PERFECT team in the Colts and he will be productive for you guys. I think being surrounded by a few good guys like Manning and Harrison will help him learn to keep his mouth shut and just play football. He also won't be asked to ever be the no. 1 back so that should help him stay healthy.

The kid can play and he is a fighter. He is the type of back who will motivate the rest of the team and he will 100% for sure be a fan favorite in INDY for years.

Good fit for the Colts but a better fit for Mike Hart. I wish him the best in his NFL career!

I think Mike Hart is a good RB. I though he was great at Michigan. Of course the NFL is a lot harder, but i think he'll be good for the Colts.

Go Colts!

Hart's sportline bio describes him as a "quiet, lead by example type" who earned the respect of his teammates by putting in extra hours in the weight room, etc. His injuries consisted of a hamstring and an ankle sprain, hardly chronic injury problems. He set career marks as both a high school player and at Michigan, demonstrating amazing durability.

Where did you get your special knowledge on Hart's "big mouth" and fragility that allows you to contradict the folks at sportsline and Hart's own New York HS and NCAA career records?

All I have heard is how everyone is on the character of this guy????  I don't understand the "big mouth" comment???  There is a difference between between mouthing off to others on the field and being a competitor.  I have watched alot of Mike Hart in college and the only mouthing off I see him do is when he is trying to fire up his teammates.  There is a big difference.

Plus, the Colts wouldn't take a flier on him if he had any character issues..

The NFL's all-time leading rusher EMMITT SMITH's best forty time in his pre-draft workouts was a 4.71....  That seemed to work-out pretty well for Dallas.

The Colts have never had a RB with amazing break away speed. You don't see 60 yd TD runs from ours backs. (could be the threat at WR, every defender is already down field) But you know what, I'm pretty sure we have had a few pro-bowl RB's in the past 10 yrs or so. I would not be shocked to see Hart with 400-500 yds and 3-4 TD's. If he gets to #2 spot. He was a very popular pick with the coaching staff. He will get many of chances to prove he can step up to the next level. just my 2 cents
