JQ did a great job with this team. All the injuries we went through and still taking second in a tough division and making the playoffs as a 6 seed. With Sakic, Svatos, Stasny, Smyth, Arnason and Clark combined have missed about a 125 games, along with some smaller injuries to some other players for a few games but we wont include them becuase injuries happen to teams, but we got jacked this year. The reason we made the playoff was cause of JQ, not Theo. Quenneville made some great pickups at the trade deadline, choosing the minor league players to come up and help us out, mixin up the lines, the Stasny, Hejduk, Forsberg line is a killer. He did a great job. Honestly with all our injuries we shouldnt even be in the playoffs.

You people are mad at Quenneville for not starting Budaj in game two of the detriot series. Theo had a awsome first series vs the Wild. He was kinda sick in game 1 with detriot, but he told JQ he was fine to play, Quenneville pulled him pretty quick when he realized otherwise. Game 2 Theo was fine healthwise but just sucked and now you people want blame JQ for not starting Budaj, when all you people were in love with Theo befor, pathetic. Iv been pretty critical of Theo this season while everyone else was in love with him,  now just like that you off the Theo bandwagon. Peter will start the rest of the detriot series and Theo will be back if we get by detriot. Just dont blame JQ he did a great job and still doing so!

well worded sportsfan09.  Theo is struggling in this series and Peter is playing awesome.  In hockey you have to ride the hot goalie.  It is unfortunate that Theo got sick and fell apart.  Hopefully he will get his fire back for the next round.  Of course, that is provided that the AVS find a way to come back from the 0 - 2 defecit.

Getting a win tonight would be a great way to start the series comeback.

Tonight will be a must win. If we lose then its time to pack up an go home.

Quenneville is an average coach. I personally would like to see Tony Granato become the next coach for the Avs.

Good God sniper, we already went through that "era" Coach Q didn't have a full team this season. Now that Giguere looks like he's paying attention, next season could be fun.

why do you want to see Granato coach again sniper svatos? i really want an answer. and sports fan09... how does calling people up from your farm team make you a great coach? you make him sound like some sort of mastermind because he called up a left winger to replaced an injured left winger, a centermen for a centermen and so on and so forth. or was his "shuffling of the lines" the thing that got you? or maybe its the way he perfectly executes the pulling of the goalie when ur down by 1.  wake up sportsfan, he's not a magician pulling rabbits from hats. he's an ordinary coach. just cause theo played great round 1, doesn't mean our ship has to drown with him as captain in round two. as far as i'm concerned, you should catch the bus outta here with theo and ur boy Quennville.
