Chiefs got an A+, but the only teams to get A's were the Redskins, Cowboys, and Giants. Another year in the NFC East is another year in the best conference it sounds like.

The NFC East was the best division in the conference before the draft, and all 4 teams just got even better.  All 4 could easily go 10-6 or better.  Just a sick division.  Meanwhile the Seahwawks get another bye to the playoffs with 6 games against AZ, StL and SF.  What a joke.  The NFC South probably wont be very good again either (Atlanta will be dreadful, Carolina and New Orleans average at best, and TB hoping to replicate last yr which showed to be a fluke of sorts thanks to the weakness of their division), and while we're at it, the NFC North pretty much sucks too, though the Packers and Vikings should be decent if they can get by at QB.  Not much hope for the Bears and Lions this yr, however.

4 of the Top 7 teams in the NFC are from the NFC East, with Green Bay, Minnesota and Seattle being the other 3.  You will have 3 NFC East teams in the playoffs yet again.  Dallas would appear to be a lock, the Giants will hope to not have a Super letdown, and the Eagles and Redskins are very solid, particularly the Eagles with McNabb looking to be full-strength in their final 3 games, all wins.  The Eagles played really well down the stretch but couldnt overcome a poor record in close games (0-5 in games decided by 3 pts or less) as well as a rough start while McNabb was trying to find his legs.  Adding Asante Samuel can't hurt either.

I'll grant that the NFC East is the best division in the NFC right now, but not the league.  I'll take Colts, Jags, Titans, and Texans over anyone.  In case you don't buy it, look at combined records from last year:

NFC East: 40-24
AFC South: 42-22

It's even more compelling when you realize that the teams in the AFC south had to rack up their wins against more difficult AFC competition, though I don't really have time to crunch the numbers right now.

I agree the AFC South is the toughest division although the NFC East is just behind them.  How can you argue?  The AFC South teams boasted no teams with losing records and 3 of 4 in the playoffs.

The NFC East had 3 of four in the playoffs too; Redskins, Cowboys, and Giants. The Division also had the Superbowl winner so... I'm still saying NFC East, but with the AFC South strong at #2.

Let's meet in the Superbowl this year!

If you validate anything based on the critique of Prisco you obviously are as naive as they come.  All of the grades in this "Review" were extremely inflated.  According to Pricso, there were no teams who had a below average draft, which is never the case.

If I were to grade this draft for the NFC East, I would probably give the highest grades to the Cowboys and the Eagles.  Both addressed bigtime need positions, with Philly picking up two bigtime playmakers in the second round.
