IHO: I did actually watch some of today's EDS action from Dallas, and because of the dramatic ending, it was fairly entertaining. Adam Scott tried to blow a lead down the stretch but sank a clutch birdie putt on 18 to force a playoff with Ryan Moore (runner up 4 times, but no wins yet.) On the third hole of sudden death, Scott sank a 48-foot birdie and won the tournament. Moore's chip on the same hole singed the cup but failed to go in. He actually played very well down the stretch and during the playoff for a golfer who has yet to win. Still, I agree: it will be nice to see Tiger on the course again. The Wachovia Championship, Players Championship, and Memorial Tournament won't be the same without him. Those tournaments generally have such a stong field, I think they will still be worth watching.

.02......okay....Adam Scott tried to blow a lead down the stretch
sounds like the player's championship a couple of years ago, maybe 3.....so he BLEW the lead, and a guy named RYAN MOORE?... almost won?...see my point?...what's going on out there?...where are the heavyweights?.... The Wachovia Championship, Players Championship, and Memorial Tournament won't be the same without him.
can u imagine the U.S.OPEN.....the BRITISH OPEN.....the P.G.A. ......or GASP!....theMASTERS?......without him?......it wouldnt take long for all of us to not ever be heard of on these threads again....sad, but true, and deep down, ILG...KINIK...FINGFA...CHER...BBYG..(VLAD)....MARK...02 CENTS..TIMSNG....UMHULA.....USCFAN......you know I am right, and i hope i will not in the near future be right..... ...
jus sayin n thinkin'.....
iho.....

iho, I watched golf all four days, loved every minute of it. I even watched most of the BMW Asian Open where Darren Clarke won. Now, if you didn't watch this great player make that last putt, which gave him the win, you missed something. It was as good as of he had won a major, not having a win in five years, he was a greatful winner.
The same as Scott when he made the winning 48ft putt. These are great guys and deserve some respect.
You see, I LOVE GOLF, not just A PLAYER, I like to see them all win and see how happy they are when they do so.
Now I am going to the Players at Saw Grass May 10th and 11th. I for one, will be glad TW isn't going to be there. Some of these deserving other players won't have the extra stress TW brings. They can now have a chance to win.
You wanted a debate.....discussion....argument.....Go for it.

ok...here goes......he was a greatful winner.
thats my point!...he was a grateful winner, and he knows he was lucky to be there. it's just NOT the same to win without TIGER in the field. you can try to spin it any way you want..." great 48 foot putt"...or " he really desreved it " ..but it's NOT THE SAME!.....just like your man..VJ....looks at his # of wins WITHOUT TIGER in the field..much higher than with TIGER IN THE FIELD!..look it up ILG....will be glad TW isn't going to be there
you said not long ago on another thread that you will miss TIGER, and dont tell me now that you were " just kidding ".....are you really saying that you would not like to see THE LEGEND on 17?....puhleze......why not?...because you are afraid TIGER WILL WIN!!!....you people are making my point for ME!.....They can now have a chance to win.
interesting...i think you just said it all.......
iho....
