FINALLY!!!!!!

UK finally has won a road series in the SEC against a ranked opponent!!!!!!!

Today, we got 7.1 strong innings for the all time wins leader at UK, Greg Dombrowski, and beat Vanderbilt 3-1 to take the series from them 2-1.

The only blemish in the series was a 3-2 defeat on Friday night where we allowed 3 2 out runs to score in the 6th, 7th, and 8th innings.

The SEC now looks like this:

1. Georgia 15-5-1, 29-14-1 (all but clinched)
2. Florida   12-9, 27-16
3. Vanderbilt  11-9, 31-13
4. South Carolina  11-10, 31-14 (swept at LSU...That hurts)
5. Kentucky  11-10, 33-11
6. Tennessee 11-10, 25-19 (lost a series to Miss State...First series Miss State has won...That also hurts)
7. Ole Miss 11-10, 28-17
8. Alabama 10-11, 25-21 (Played well going 10-8 in the SEC since opening the season getting swept at Kentucky)
9. LSU  9-11-1, 28-16-1
10. Arkansas 9-11, 26-18
11. Auburn  8-13, 24-21
12. Miss State  6-15, 18-26

A couple of things to note heading into the final 3 SEC series...The league is very balanced outside of Miss State and Georgia...There is no telling what the SEC tournament will look like. 

Also...The worst 3 teams in the SEC East have the same record as the SEC West leader...
