It takes him 90 minutes to watch the program 60 minutes. That is how stupid he is!!!!!! He let my man Mendenhall go right before his eyes. We will pay for this mistake!!!!

The Bears' most pressing need was a left tackle and they got one.  Unless Mendenhall can block for himself, he would have been a poor choice.

No it wasn't a good pick. your Adrian Peterson and Cedric Benson aren't the answer to the Bears runningback problems. there where tons of O-Linemen in this draft very deep class. So as long as JA is your Gm your going to stay near the bottom of our division.

Yes you guys had 2 great years but that defense is now old. you need to be able to score and unless a OT can score touchdowns he is of no help.

I'm in no way bashin you guys but just stating what you guys already know.

I agree. Not to mention that we passed up Dennis Dixon and Colt Brennan. It was like the draft was yelling at us to take a QB.  But I still think that we will have a successful season IF  we can get Kyle Orton the be on top of his game for all 16 games. If I  was Lovie Smith I'd have to let go of any hpe that I had for Rex Grossman. He is a disappointment.   Matt Forte will have an instant impact. I'd rather have Mendenhall or even 3rd Rounder Jamal Charles and use our  2nd round pick to get Malcolm Kelly, but what canya do? It's the Bears. This happens every season and I think the mix of veterans and rookies can work out, I hope.

"Unless a OT can score touchdowns he is of no help"

Do you see what I have to deal with here folks?  How can you argue with stupid?  The answer is, you can't.

Let me try and help you out vikesfan.  The offensive tackle helps the guy behind him score by blocking the other guys that are trying to tackle him.  Do you see how that works, sweetie?

Ok but when you have 2 guys that can't run the ball who is the OT to block for? No i wasn't being rude but man u just can't help yourself can u. listen Cedric sucks YOUR adrian petersone suck. with these 2 you could put the best offensive line men on your team and they still couldn't run. So no matter how you slice it a Great OT is of no use to those 2.

If you can't run the ball your not scoring. Like i said you don't have a game managing QB (neither do we)(figured i'd say it b4 you did) you really dont have a game breaking WR you needed some one that could move the chains. There was a deep OL class not so deep RB class.

Thats all i was sayin you guys had the chance to pull the trigger and didn't twice.

This draft class was the worste for QB's in the last 10 years.

Their is only (1) sure fire Franchise QB in this draft and that was Matt Ryan. Nearly ALL ofthe other QB's are not going to do squat and won't be any better the 2'nd string on any NFL roster in (5) years.

Colt Brennan ???   You have to be kidding or just high on crack. This dude is a pure system QB who padded his stats on inferior conference talent. The Bowl game train wreck should have pointed this fact out for you. Against a quality BCS team, he stunk, bad !!

Dennis Dixon would have been intruiging but he will probably pan out no better then Kordell Stewart or Byron Leftwich. The kid has some sizzle but he is not a pure NFL type passer and the shelf life of Michael Vick style QB's is relatively short in the Pro game.

You really can't pull the cart before the horse. The Vikings had an easy pick last year when AP fell intop their laps at (5). Peterson also benefited from running behind one of the top O-lines in the NFL.

The Bears are in flux right now, the O-line in 2006 was solid but loaded with aging veterans. Thomas Jones and Cedric Bumson both benefited from the O-line that at that time was playing at a high level to the post some lofty numbers to the tune of 4.5 yards per carry for both backs !!!   The othe AP carried a lofty 5.5 YPC in 2006 in a few starts and in our 3'rd down package.

Our O-line went south last season and it hurt both our RB's, the OTHER AP ran for only 3.5 YPC as did Bumson, oddly enough Thomas Jones goes to the Jets in 2007 and behind that bad O-line did even worse statisticaly the our AP and Benson. The the funny thing is that Benson averaged roughly the same and score more TD's then Jones last year !!

My point is, with our inept O-line, we couldn't run or pass well in 2007.

We needed to
