Anyways, it's hard to really gauge where we're at because we don't have the majority of the recruiting class on campus yet. Also Pittman pulled a hammy and was out, Decker's playing baseball (doesn't seem like a good decision when he's obviously needed at practice), and Jay Thomas is still rehabbing his knee. So yeah, the defense was way better. I suppose that's good, because last year our offense was pretty decent. Assuming they maintained that level, it shows marked improvement on D. They couldn't have stopped anybody last year, not even our own offense.
