First off, I know you may have your love affair with Brian Brohm, but Atlanta probably wont take a QB, and if they did, ill bet you your job that itll be Matt Ryan.........Time to face facts, Brian Brohm is going late 1st to 2nd. Reality sucks, dont it?
If the Bears have a shot at Ryan Clady, ill bet you your house that they take him. Lovie Smith loves this kid, Brandon Albert wont fill in at LT because most G/T in college dont play both in the NFL unless theres a problem, being injury or blowout. I definitely think Mendenhall goes to the Bears if Clady is wrong.
I'll bet your salary next that the Jets dont take a QB. Their still high on the Chad Pennington/Kellen Clemens duo, and will be for a while. They are in a position to take a quality player, and it wont be a QB.
How about i just bet your soul and dignity on the rest? Henne Wont go early 1st, Stewart and Felix jones wont go ahead of Mendenhall. Sam Baker goes 1st round, and Chris Williams doesnt? Vernon Gholston wont drop to 20, and Kenny Phillips will be taken 1st.

I agree that Brohm will drop to the second round, but that does not mean he is not the best quarterback in this draft. The Falcons would be fools to take Matt Ryan at 3, or any quarterback in this draft at 3. They are all pretty good, and you can definitely grab 1 in the early second round.
But this love obsession with Matt Ryan needs to end. Did anyone watch college football this year? Boston College played no one. The best team they played was BC and they only put up 14 against them. God, Matt Flynn looked better than Matt Ryan against Virginia Tech, and no one would pay Matt Flynn more than the league minimum.
This draft is really deep and really average, what a terrible year to have a top 5 pick.
I can only imagine how angry Brady Quinn is right now, that this was not the year he came out, because he is far more talented than Matt Ryan and Quinn didn't get drafted till the 20's.

i watched boston college some and i wasn't impressed with matt ryan at all. he'll get picked before brohm (god knows why) but ryan isn't even the third or fourth best qb in this draft.

Do any of you people have anything better to do than to spout off on every single article written by every single columnist? Seriously, every article I read I scan down to the comments and 85% of the replies are from people complaining about said article. This article was intended to show what Prisco would do in the event he was the GM of each team. It's not supposed to be realistic. He has stated many times before that he prefers Brohm over Ryan. Thats why he has Atlanta choosing him. Would I agree? No, I dont think any top 10 QB can survive the shambles of a team that is the Falcons. The Falcons are better off following the Browns strategy of last year. Grab Dorsey or Long, then look to trade into the bottom of the 1st round and grab Henne or Brohm. At least then the expectations wouldnt be so high. At any rate, the mans job is columnist. Columnists offer opinions, thats it. Prisco probably gets a raise each time the complaint meter passes 1000. They know all too well his articles are being read.

What are you smoking Prisco? Atlanta taking Brohm with the 4th pick? Why would they do that when they can get him in the second round? Also why would Baltimore take Henne when they could get him in the second round? You would basically be throwing away your first round picks. And Mendenhall will not fall that far. How did you get your job because I want to talk to the guy who hired you, so I can get a job writing my idiotic opinions and actually get paid for it!!!

you know what, you guys need to chill. prisco said everyone would rip him, and after several of the picks he said that they would not actually be there, like mendenhall. And I do think that Brian Brohm will eventually be better than Matt Ryan and probly already is. Matt Ryan threw way to many picks against mediocre defenses at best, they had a very easy schedule.

Worst mock draft ever! I'm suprised this guy even figured out the first pick. Seriously, 3 QBs in the top 10?!?! There aren't even 2 first round QB's. And if he's got the Packers picking a safety in the first round then he's as high as a kite. They don't need a safety and even if they wanted one, there isn't one worth a 1st round pick.

i agree the Falcons aren't going to take Brian Brohm just because you love the guy, he will probably go in the 2nd round. Matt Ryan is the best QB in this draft and yes the falcons do need a QB, so i think they will take him to play it safe. Unless the Ravens somehow find a way to get the 2nd pick in the draft from the Rams, then ryan could go the ravens. Otherwise the raven will have to make a decsion if they want to waste a high pick on Brain Brohm with the 8th pick in the draft.
For Ryan Clady i think the Chiefs will take him if he is still available with the 17th pick that they got from the Vikings. With the loss of Jared Allen though, the Chiefs would look to take either Chris Long or Vernon Gholston with their 5 pick in the draft
for the Jets to take a QB in the first round is a bad move. Why waste the 6th round in the NFL draft on a QB that should be starting for a team that needs him. All the guy is going to be doing is keeping the bench warm for Chad Pennington or Kellen Clemens until both get injuries.
To wrap it up the guy needs to get out of his QB high because i believe only one QB is going in the first round and that is Matt Ryan.
