The ref lost sight of the puck and blew the whistle, just like he did against the Pens earlier in the game but the puck didnt go in, whats the difference.  What you are saying is the ref saw the ouck going in the net but decided to blow the whistle to help the Pens so Sid could continue on in the playoffs because its helps the NHL?  you arent very bright.

Drurys goal in game one was clearly a high stick, but you got that call and I dont hear you complaining about that.

The last game  against Philly was on NBC in my area.....so they did lose an NBC game. Uh-oh, I shot that one down. You'll have to come up with something else.

NY's whining an excuses in here is making their fans look like complete idiots.

well it wasn't on nbc in the NY area because Crosby was out of the game so they choose to air a different game.

Also no excuses here it's just lame how the refs took a goal away from the Rangers so late in the game.  But the Pens played a good defensive game keeping all of the Ranger shots to the outside.  Next game the Rangers will go harder to the net and make it difficult for Fleury who really hasn't impressed me this series despite the shutout because the Rangers didn't have great chances.  All the Pens chances were from the slot -- the Rangers have to play better defense.

Ranger fans aren't whining we are just sick of getting the raw deal from officials who have also blown games for other teams in the playoffs.  All I am saying is that the refs should not decide the games -- let them play and just get out of the way.

So how many times should a player be able to hack a goalie while the puck is under his pads before the whistle is blown?

5) until the puck goes in or the goalie bleeds to death, whichever comes first.

The series is definately not over but its close.  Rangers obviously need game 3.  Hopefully they can win game 3 convincingly to give them some confidence and then they can get game 4 as well.  If that happens i think they lose game 5 take game 6 in msg and take that momentum to the mellon area and move on the to the Conference finals baby.
