The calls didnt go the Rangers way but I'm more dissapointed that they let a 3 goal lead escape. Got to hold on to that lead. Just flat out disappointing.

I think it is funny that you all are complaining about the refs, we both had only 1 PP goal. I also find it funny that your team went to the papers before the series even started and were complaining. Do you and your team have no confidence? You were making excuses for losing before you were even losing.

Gee... we had a puck bounce off the ice into the net (albeit the Penguins goalie leaped like a basketball center) which was played with a high stick but maintained...
but yet....

Also...the NEW NHL??!! You mean the one where you made the playoffs for the first time in forever.
Last time you were significant in the "old NHL" was cleaning our skates after we beat you in 5 games back in '96.

You know what makes me sick:
Allowing 2 goals in 14 seconds, and then allowing two more goals in a 20 second span.
The refs did not blow the game. The Rangers blew the game by not being able to hold a 3-0 lead. We should be accustomed to this by now. No lead is safe with the pathetic defensemen that the Rangers have. It also seems that they play too conservatively when they get a big lead.
Kudos to the Penguins and their fans. They have a great team and deserved to win that game.

Cry me a river you pansies! Jaromir Jagr didn't cry that much when he was in Pittsburgh. The Rangers squandered a 3 goal lead and the Pens never gave up. Cry about Gary bettman, Cry about Sidney Crosby, Cry about Jaarko Ruutu, who really cares. Just face the facts that the Penguins aren't just going to lay down and give you the second round because you're team is from New York.
Oh, and the Sean Avery tactics really aren't a factor as long as Ruutu is on the ice or the bench for that matter.
Rangers players weren't looking up at the scoreboard to watch the replay, they were looking for Gary Roberts in the rafters.
When Sean Avery goes to sleep at night, checks his closet for Gary Roberts, and under his bed for Jaarko Ruutu.

THERE IS AREASON THE NHL DOESNT MAKE IT , JUST LOOK AT THEIR GAMES ESPECAILLY THE CALLS BY THE REFS WITH 2 REFEREES IT IS WAY WORSE THAN IT WAS WITH 1 IN THE 70'S AND 80'S BESIDES NOW THE NHL IS JUST GLORIFIED FIGURE SKATERS WITH ALL THE STUPID RULE CHANGES , THE NHL HAS MOST OF ITS FAN BASE IT HAD IN THE 70'S AND 80'S WHEN HOCKEY WAS VERY POPULAR AND HAS NOT REPLACED THEM AS THEIR TV RATINGS SHOW EVERY YEAR

Actually... I don't know how validated this is, to be serious, but I've heard the NHL's playoff ratings this year are very comparable to the NBA's nielsen-wise, despite airing on Versus compared to ESPN.
