I wasn't a fan of the Jim Edmonds signing either. I don't know how KT expected much from him, it was just an example of being cheap. I didn't expect Iguchi to be batting .213.
I think this team desperately needs a left fielder with some pop and a centerfielder with some speed.
Brian Giles, Kouz, and Adrian Gonzalez are the only ones really giving this team what even a realist would expect. Green batting .218 (.253), Edmonds batting .177(.286), Iguchi batting .213 (.272), Hairston .197 (.240), Bard .247 (.274) all batting significantly lower than their career averages (in parentheses). You have to think at least a couple of them will come around. The bench won't help a ton, as it is an inexpensive one, but they are the bench. This team just stand too much of a risk of falling of the map if they don't add a player...
