The touch of Slice has been a fun ride at each Social Security PPV we have. An old out of shape boxer, a man called the Toad ABBott, and now Colossus 6'4 285 LBS man.... as least this guy is solid and has something to prove. James had a few total crashes at the hands of less then stellar competition so i wonder how much the guy is working out... If james trains hard and can last the first round Slice may have some problems... The MMA fights are like nothing else in the world many top notch wrestlers are shocked when they make the change. Slice has something special and is a special guy however, with that said he hasn't fought anybody, nobody, or a real body... James is the best competition he has so far and to beat the slow pondering giant Slice will need to move and hit and take away Colossus's size advantage. Colossus has been open for hits to the head, so I guess that falls into Slices strength but if its a ground and pound. The big guy will beat Slice....

Slice seems to be a very well trained as well as learned man so if I would bet it would be slice in Round one, however if James watches video he could learn what not to do.... Move and hit and take the legs out from underneath Kevin... Either way lets hope its not another Social Security event..... If the Touch of Slice wins look for Big Ben or Brock maybe even Randy Couture for a big payday...

I think kimbo slice is a great fighter all round... His trainer is Bas Rutten, a UFC hall of famer, Colossus may be a good wrestler but no one can stand up to him. You will have to beat him up to take him to the ground, he is to quick and powerful. He will uppercut when you go for a take down, cause he is that good.

I think kimbo slice is a great fighter all round...

Really? I'm wondering how you can say that. Have you seen Kimbo sprawl yet? Have you seen Kimbo fight a guy who has a decent wrestling game? I just don't see how he can be considered a "great fighter all around..."   Kimbo has fought nobody worth talking about... Unless you think Tank Abbott is worth talking about... which would make you even dumber then i thought... considering his record is 9 - 14 and the last time he won a fight was in 2005 and his win before that was in 1998. Kimbo Slice is the most overrated freak out there right now. Don't let yourself believe the hype on this guy. Sure, he is a bad mammer jammer in the back yard fighting scene, BUT, that is not high level MMA. This Colossus feller sucks, and he will be Kimbo's BIGGEST challenge yet. That says a lot. I hope to God that the UFC doesn't seriously consider signing this guy.

I agree with kellcr. Put someone that's on their A game in front of Kimbo and let's see how he does.  In the UFC even the big time punchers have to have a great ground game.  Take a look at Liddell.  Known for stand-up but his sprawl and ground game are way overlooked.

I agree with what everyone is saying about Kimbo, unfortunately for him to get a good fight he will have to leave the orginization he is in. Who really fights in the heavyweights for Elite? Really there aren't any good heavyweights in that orginization to prove anything against. All the heavyweights are a bunch of nobodies that either couldn't make it in the UFC or weren't good enough to stay there. Their champ is a former UFC champ, but he blows too.

I did a lot of "research" on Kimbo on youtube last night.

His heart and chin are so strong that you really won't beat him on his feet. Ever.

That being said, we haven't seen big chunks of his game-as noted, he has never been seen grappling, sprawling, tai clinching, etc. When fighting Sean Gannon, Kimbo would have been dead if fighting Anderson Silva (I know-knees were not legal so why defend it).

One thing that gives me confidence in Kimbo is hearing him talk since he began MMA training. He says that he won't fight in street fights anymore because it just wouldn't be fair because he's on a totally different level. Now, from a guy with his background and knowing that he made his fame by street fighting to swear it off and say it's not fair anymore, he must really feel that he's made substantial gains. I've also noticed that in his sanctioned bouts, he's much more cut and looks to have really trained hard and with lots of cardio to get ready. I don't see him gassing, and the more endurance he has, the more bombs he'll throw which increases the chances that one or two will land.

I'm not sold on Kimbo as an MMA great because he's totally unproven in most of the game, but as a man with super heavy fists, I'm convinced. Sylistically, I think he would be in trouble against a very good-great wrestler. Couture would wipe him out, for instance.

For someone to say EliteXC doesn't have a heavyweight under contract to fight Slice is ridiculous.  Antonio Silva would be favored by many in the know people in MMA in a fight against Kimbo.  Matter of fac tI think I might start a poll on that one.

I don't think Bas Rutten is in the UFC hall of fame! Maybe the Pancreas HOF but I don't see him in UFC hall!
