They are nice, but honestly, I feel that Brewster has been spending too much time on superficial things like jerseys, new helmets with a bigger M logo, white shoes to make us look faster, parades, and pep rallies. I think he should be spending more time on trying to come up with a strategy to win more than 1 game. It seems like now is the time to go into a cave, be quiet and humble, and focus on getting better. Of course that doesn't sell tickets, it just wins games....which eventually sells tickets.
On a related note, I am glad that this spring practice has been described as "the most physical spring practice he's been a part of in his football career." I was a bit unsure of his style last year, after he kept over-emphasizing the need for guys who "love to play football" and making sure we all have fun. This isn't pop-warner, Brewster. I think your feel-good, team bonding sessions may have caused a lack of physicality and intensity, ultimately costing us a couple games last year.
But hey, at least we all had fun and now we look stylish.
