So what do you think about the new jerseys?

Funny, I just saw then on the news this morning.  They said they are lighter and look faster.

All I can say is...about time!  Look out  tOSU!

They look good, I like the darker maroon color.  The all-white and all-maroon combinations are my favorites.  The maroon top with white or gold pants(unfortunately the #1 home uni).. not as much.  There is supposedly an all gold combination that has yet to be unveiled!

They are nice, but honestly, I feel that Brewster has been spending too much time on superficial things like jerseys, new helmets with a bigger M logo, white shoes to make us look faster, parades, and pep rallies.  I think he should be spending more time on trying to come up with a strategy to win more than 1 game.  It seems like now is the time to go into a cave, be quiet and humble, and focus on getting better.  Of course that doesn't sell tickets, it just wins games....which eventually sells tickets.

On a related note, I am glad that this spring practice has been described as "the most physical spring practice he's been a part of in his football career."  I was a bit unsure of his style last year, after he kept over-emphasizing the need for guys who "love to play football" and making sure we all have fun.  This isn't pop-warner, Brewster.  I think your feel-good, team bonding sessions may have caused a lack of physicality and intensity, ultimately costing us a couple games last year.

But hey, at least we all had fun and now we look stylish.

I like the way Coach is going about the business of College Football right now. He is trying to establish Minnesota as a destination that recruits want to go to. He knows he can't win any football games with the guys that he inherited so he dresses the program up a bit and works his tail off to bring in better talent. Then the wins start coming. And the new jerseys look good. I'd like to see Goldy on the helmet.

I don't necessarily want to see Goldy on the helmet.  I'd push for a larger M on the helmet...if anything.

What I'd really like to see Goldy on is a sexy pair of panties.
