Howd I do in a Ryan Howard trade?

I got a steal I think. I just traded Micah Owings and Russle Martin for Ryan Howard. I will then try to trade either Carlos Pena or Howard for some even better pitching like Peavy or Santana. The guy was hurting on pitching and lost his patience on Howard. So what do you think? Did I do good or not?

Yup... did fine.  Owings is still young.  I have him in a league and he's been very nice to have, but you never know.  Martin an above avg Catcher... big deal!!  For the points difference you can pick up a free agent catcher.  Had to make that trade.

What does your team look like now?

Keep in mind this is a "daily H2H league" where I am adding and dropping possibly 2-3 mediocre waiver pitchers everyday. I will either pick up Ivan Rodriguez or Mike Napoli for a catcher and possibly look to trade rollins, pena, of howard, for a package deal. The rest of my team looks as follow:

I would keep Howard.  Your SP is just fine bro.  Billingsley hasn't been stellar but I believe he will come around and in a big way.  Gallardo, Vazquez (one of the most under-rated SP in league), Smoltz, Zman... plus Greinke and Liriano as potential guys... You're sitting fine at SP and you just added a stud 1B.  

Braun should be fine.  Never hit below .280 in a given month last year.  He'll wake up.  In meantime, I am going to suggest taking a look at Hank Blalock if he's available.  Kid is healthy this year and is only 28.  30HR upside and a very solid BA is what you can expect if he's healthy (and he is right now)... under-rated sleeper.

you did get a pretty good deal out of this. however i would definately keep howard and if you're going to trade anyone else i would trade pena.

i am in a league and i have a good 3B in Chipper Jones, a potential star in Evan Longoria, and a good utility player in Travis Hafner. i need help deciding which 2 to start and i have been offered a trade for garett atkins and i can offer him any of the three players stated above.
