Am I crazy or should I actually considering benching A-Rod this week?  He is obviously day-to-day with the leg injury from yesterday, plus, he still has the birth of his baby looming any day which could force him to miss a game or two.

My backup 3B is Jeff Keppinger and the Reds are scheduled to play 7 games this week.  A-Rod is scheduled to play 6 games but could miss 1, 2, or 3 games.  My scoring system is roto and the scoring categories are BA, OBP, Doubles+Triples, HR, RBI, Runs.  Our weekly lineups need to be set by the first pitch of the first game today.

Who should I start and why?  I always like to hear everyone else's reasoning.

You start the best team each week in fantasy.  This week Keppinger playing 7 gives you a better team than A-Rod playing injured and missing starts.  Start Keppinger and monitor A-Rod this week.

Yeah, i ran into the same problem this week with my team in the same format. I ended up benching AROD because everyone on ESPN said that he will miss 5-6 games.  I have Evan Longoria going in his place for the week.  Good luck, and make sure u start Arod next week... he'll be back by then

I too had the same problem.  I couldn't beieve that Mark Reynolds was still a Free Agent in our league so I picked him up and started him in place of A-Rod.  I just can't afford to have goose eggs at my 3rd base slot for even a couple of days as we have a very competitive league.  I only won last week by 7 points and that wasn't decided till the end of last nights game.  I do hate having A-Rod AND Jimmy Rollins on my bench though!
